Coach / Trainer - ABC Trainerize

We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified.

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

Thanks!

  2. Meals for more than three days and easier meals?

I saw this has been raised. This is very important. My clients are busy full time workers and just want to meal prep once for the whole week.

Also, When I set their meals up it give them lovely options and it is a great tool but people don't have time or money to buy all these ingredients for the week. Are they able to chose their own meals?
    thanks

  3. Ability to Schedule a 7 days worth of meals, a week makes more sense than 3 days

Its frustrating to my clients that they can only see 3 days worth of meals, much harder to plan for the week if less than half the week is available to see

  4. Meal Plan Options

Add more customization options to select/deselect protein such as chicken only/no beef. For clients who do not like seafood & need/want to avoid red meat. Or a protein swap option for recipes.

  5. The ability to add and customize meal names.

I have many clients eating more than 4 meals a day and right now the only options are breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Considering having them go back to MyFitnessPal because it seems much easier to navigate and has more options for customization.

  7. Bulk batch cooking or doubling recipe for people who meal prep or want to share meals with family.

It would be nice if recipes portions could be multiplied for bulk batch cooking (meal prep) or if more than one person is catered for or You want to eat leftovers for lunch & save time cooking.

  8. Allow Edits to Meals in Smart Meal Planner

Users should be able to quickly edit ingredients in recipes provided via the smart meal planner. For example, say a recipe calls for 4% cottage cheese but the user only has 1% on hand. This substitution will cause a change to their macros and calories, so they should have the ability to account for it. Giving them the ability to make a quick ingredient switch would be the perfect solution.

  10. Opt out of using sucralose /non-caloric sweeteners

If we're trying to get people to eat better and eat "whole foods" that are nourishing why are we suggesting non-caloric/hyper palatable sweeteners? There are countless studies that show the negative impact of artificial, non-caloric sweeteners on gut health. Not to mention it continues that perpetual cycle of constantly craving 'sweet' vs savoury? Just a thought. I tell my clients to use maple syrup, date sugar or even coconut sugar.

  13. Calorie and macro breakdown per INGREDIENT in meals

Currently, you can only see the total calories and macros for the entire MEAL. But if a client needs to swap an ingredient they aren't easily able to. Having the breakdown BY INGREDIENT makes it possible to empower the client to find something that works for them while still trying to stay within the calories/macros of the suggested meal.

Even as the coach I can't see where the calories are coming from within the meal to easily assist them.

Evolution nutrition has this visibility on the coach side but not client. I usually send a copy of the meal/recipe (from…

  14. Be able to use the meal planner as well as logging food through myfitnesspal

The meal planner is great as guidance but I want to be able to assign both so the client has the option and a more flexible approach

  15. Ability to change the unit of measurement.

Hello. Nice app, fast and efficient. However, two things bother me. One of them was mentioned by the previous speakers, and that is the shopping list. The second one is the ability to change units from teaspoons and ounces to grams. I believe this is quite important because not all tablespoons are the same, and counting in this measure, especially for fats, can lead to introducing and enforcing artificial caloric values like 1200, etc. I could manage because I would use Google as a unit converter, but not every beginner has such an idea and the WILL to do it,…

  17. Ability to change recipe ingredients to grams/oz.

Most recipes have ingredients listed in cups, tablespoons, teaspoons
It Would be convenient to have grams next to the cup servings since measuring in grams/oz is more accurate.

  18. Adding the ability for clients to see a list of all the meals and favorite them

Be able to make it so clients can see a list of all the recipes offered in the smart meal planner with the calories and macros visible and also a search option and then so they can heart their favorite meals and add them to a list for way reference later. This will help out immensely when trying to meal prep a full week in advance!

  19. Ability to create smart meal plans through drag and drop (like workout builder)

I'd like to create any meal plan using the meal library through drag and drop just like the workout planner and then seeing what the total macros and calories would be.

  20. Having the option to use metric measurements and adjusting the meal plan to their customised macro goals!

    1) My clients track their macros/calories by weighing their foods to the gram. Cup or spoon measurement are highly inaccurate.

    2) I want to be able to adjust my clients meal plan to their individual macro split. Currently, this is not possible unfortunately.
