Coach / Trainer - ABC Trainerize

We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified.

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

Thanks!

  1. Allow Distance Data to be Pulled on Cardio Stats Instead of Hours

Data for client cardio is only shown in "hours" completed - we should be able to pull the data in distance. Viewing cardio completed in hours really can create a negative connotation with obsessive clients. I think distance is more practical and sensitive to users.

  2. SCHEDULE ON-DEMAND WORKOUTS AND LESSONS

SCHEDULE ON-DEMAND WORKOUTS AND LESSONS directly from the calendar tab, and without having them assigned to a phase.

The calendar tab allows you to select multiple workouts/lessons at once and assign them in bulk

I utilize the on-demand section for course material and additional pre-set workouts like cardio, and core and I would like the ability to schedule a lesson on their calendar from the calendar tab without having to go to each individual lesson and manually schedule each one.

I had this ability once before and was told that this was a glitch.

My on-demand section is also great…

  4. Have the ability to assign substitute exercises to any given exercise that is programmed

Have the ability to assign various alternatives to any given exercise so if you programmed a smith machine incline chest press for example and its not available the client can click onto alternatives to take out any guess work and can choose something you've selected and can get on with their workout without feeling lost.

  5. Are portable dip bars worth it?

Portable dip bars are versatile fitness equipment that allows users to perform various upper body exercises, primarily targeting the chest, triceps, shoulders, and core muscles.

    Design
Portable dip bars typically consist of two parallel bars, either adjustable or fixed, that are sturdy enough to support the user's body weight during exercises like dips, push-ups, and leg raises.

    Portability
These dip bars are designed to be lightweight and easily transportable, making them suitable for home use, outdoor workouts, or travel. Some models may feature foldable or collapsible designs for convenient storage and transport.

  7. Program Selection

I propose the implementation of aprogram selection model within Trainerize, similar to features available in apps like Westrive, Everfit, and Movement.so. This would allow clients more flexibility in choosing and managing their fitness programs.

    Detail:

Program Selection: Clients can choose from a variety of programs that best suit their fitness goals and preferences.
Flexible Start and Stop: Allow clients to start and pause their chosen program at any time. This is particularly useful when unexpected events occur, such as illness or vacations.
Program Resumption Options: Upon returning, clients should have the option to either resume their program from where they…

  13. Change exercise order during training

Add the ability to drag and drop exercises to change the order during a workout.

When it's busy at the gym clients would like to change the order of the exercises because of the equipment they need to use is already being used by someone else. To keep things tidy and for the trainer to see in what order the exercises were performed it would be nice to have the ability to change the order and log the order of the exercises as well.

  14. The best treadmill for walking in 2024

Treadmills are versatile fitness machines that cater to a wide range of exercise needs, from brisk walking to intense running. Specifically designed for walking, treadmills offer an accessible and convenient way to improve cardiovascular health, burn calories, and maintain overall fitness levels without the need to venture outdoors.

When choosing a treadmill for walking, there are a few key features to consider:

    Motor Power
Look for a motor with around 1.5 to 2.5 continuous horsepower (CHP) for smooth operation.

    Belt Size
Opt for a treadmill with a longer and wider belt to accommodate your walking stride comfortably. Aim for a…

  18. Create a drag/drop feature when creating workout programs in the master programs!

Can we please add a feature in the Master Programs where we can drag/drop the different weeks within the workout phase? For example, when I was creating a new workout plan, I had Week1-2, Week 3-4, and Week 5-8. It was not lining up in order, as it went from Week1-2 and then jumped to Week 5-8, and then went back to Week 3-4. It would be so much easier if we can just drag/drop the different weeks so they all match up and go down in order!
