Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Show clients name first, instead of appointment type.

    Set the clients name as the start of the preview
    At the moment each appointment description begins with the appt. type and I have to hover over the appointment to see the clients name. This means that when the appointments are integrated into an external calendar (google calendar for me) all I see is "45min PT session" so would be nice to see the clients name first.

  2. Show trainer availability and vacation on schedule, especially on week view so owners and managers can schedule appointment..

    Often times owners or managers are trying to schedule trainer's appointments, but are unavailable during certain times of the day, especially in the future. It would be great if it were integrated in the scheduling screen. Would also be great if adding vacation or unavailable times in the schedule screen rather than having to take many extra steps to enter through many different screens.

  4. allow memberships to access all classes with credits instead of requiring a set credit limit for each style of class

    When you create a product (ie: 10 class membership that renews every month) you shouldn't have to set a limit on credits for each session style (ie: we host 4 classes and I want members to be able to attend whichever variety they want to make use of their 10 classes)

  5. Make it easier for clients to see appointment availability! Please :)

    Right now when clients are looking for availability they see a calendar and have to click on each day hoping they pick a day that has availability.

    Highlighting days that have slots available on the calendar view would be really helpful!

  6. ability to limit some appointment / class types for certain client types

    Is there a way to hide the class schedule from my online only clients?
    I train both inperson and online.

    I also wanted to offer a trial program for my online clients then I noticed even my trial clients can see the class schedule is there a way to hide this?

    Session credits can book into multiple classes. No longer limited to one event type, you can select multiple, or even all event types to have your session credits apply towards.

  8. Appointment History Tracker

    It would be very useful to be able to track client appointment history to keep a track of how many sessions they've had and when. This includes the ability to log sessions as late cancellations, late attendance, no-shows and attended. Currently, I have to track this manually, so in order to make Trainerize a more comprehensive system, this is essential.

  9. Client booking appointment up to 12 weeks in advance

    At the moment my clients can only book up to 5 weeks in advance and they would all like the option to book themselves up-to 12 weeks in advance. Can this please be an option.

  10. Manual Check into Class - Time limit

    Need to limit ability to manually check into class, currently you can book a class and enroll into the class at same time...based on Enrollment Window.

    This needs to be based on check in window. 1-2 hours prior to class.
    Currently members are checking into class days / weeks in advance and then not showing up and not opening spots for other people. class counts are all messed up etc.

  12. Session Credits Report

    Right now, 01/2022, it is nearly impossible to track and know where our clients stand on remaining sessions and historical appointment tracking.

    We need a way to cleanly, easily, quickly ascertain past and future appts for a client and, maybe more importantly, how many sessions remain for a client.

    This is a follow-up function that needs A LOT of enhancement! I have only been able to find one place for this, the client's profile on the web.

    I really wish there was a new tab in the web platform added to the client overview that was for "Appointments" - maybe…

  15. Automated Customizable Messages for when Session Credits are Running Low

    As of April 2023 there isn't a way to have automated customizable messaging when a clients session credit package is getting low. It would be great to implement both an email, a phone notification, and text message notification options for automated messaging while marketing to continue renewing a particular product or service that a trainer may have on a recurring basis. That is to say without having to post it within the calendar of the product itself.

  16. Check In Suggestion and Sync workouts in the master calendar to subscribers booked classes

    My client received a "Low Workout Compliance" despite attending his 4 sessions last week because I have all my classes scheduled on the calendar and he was only booked for 4 classes as per his membership contract. I suggest being able to check clients into a class they attended and also have only the classes they have booked pop up on their calendar.

  17. Client's names remain anonymous when booking into a class session

    I would like a setting on the appointment page where clients can't see the names of other clients when they book a class session and can't be seen themselves. I know that it is only the first name and the first letter of the last name that shows, but I run a smaller and intimate gym where most people know each other. I feel that being able to see who's in the slot and knowing that other people can see when you're training blows the whole confidentiality of it.

    I would love to use the booking system on the platform…

  18. Beta Feedback - Custom Event / Class

    The Beta of Group Classes is great except for we need more flexibility in setting up the classes; for example:

    • setting our own client limit instead of the default ones listed; ie we cap small group training at 8 clients not 10 but we cannot change that limit.

    • add multiple trainers to one class, we add multiple trainers to large classes / open gym so all trainers can see who is signed up incase someone has to cover or calls out.

  19. classes session count and register

    Id like the ability to tick members off when they turn up to the class. currently you can see who is coming to the class but it would be a good idea to put a check box to clients name and when they turn up instructors can mark them off.

    this will be good because clients love session count.

    They want to know how many sessions they done in a month or over a year as this keep them motivated. and you can add a milestone badge for like 25, 50, 100 sessions attended

  20. Allow clients to only book in hour time increments

    Rather than showing time slots for every 15 minutes only show in hour jumps (have option to adjust if needed) to avoid unnecessary gaps for us coaches
