Once edited the clients meal plan (customised) ability to see the macro split for each day not just the total calories.
I want to see the full breakdown for each day that I have tailored away from the generic plan.3 votes -
Have menus with no special health/diet foods found in the West.
Have plain simple foods -- vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, grains, nuts, dairy -- no special health-food store products -- which are not available in my country (pea milk, pea protein, string cheese, beef-like crumbles, artificial sweetener, etc. I have looked at my first week of menus and am discouraged because almost every single dish has things not available to me.

Smart Meal Planner: Precision Nutrition Preset Macro Splits
Instead of the strange existing preset macro splits, if you can't let us manually add custom macro splits, please at least have the Precision Nutrition recommended macro splits for:
Ectomorphs: 25% Protein; 55% Carbs; 20% Fat
Mesomorphs: 30% Protein; 40% Carbs; 30% Fat
Endomorphs: 35% Protein; 25% Carbs; 40% Fat4 votes -
Food Exclusions
Being able to list the foods that a client will not eat and it will be excluded from the selection. Such as if a client doesn't like olives. Recipes that exclude olives. etc.

Can you include certain meats to added to the exclusion list of food?
I have a lot of clients that don't eat certain meat i.e pork or red meat. Can that be added on the list as an option to exclude when generating a meal plan

provide a snack option regardless of caloric intake.
I have clients asking for a snack option, but the planner won't allow me to do so unless I increase their calories.

Take out all artificial sweeteners please
Artificial sweeteners definitely need to go--even the "healthy" ones. There's too much research around these being bad for you, so I'd love it if they weren't included.

Ability to generate Meal Plans exclusively from Custom Meals
We really need the ability to include custom meals into the meal planer and also be able to generate meal plans exclusively from custom meals as well.

Allow for both smart meal plan option and uploading your own PDF meal plan or meal guide at the same time.
Allowing for smart meal plan and PDF uploads at the same time would help clients to have more variety and customization.

Be able to add individual foods in like my fitness pal
It would be great to scan a barcode/type in a food or ingredient to add to the clients day if they don't want to stick to the meals that have been given

Swap lentil or chickpea pasta for regular pasta in recipes!
Eliminate white-flour based foods in recipes and sub higher fiber/ lower glycemic load options.

Option for "active days" and "rest days" with caloric intake adjusted accordingly.
Rather than a fixed daily intake, it should be adjusted for active days and rest days, as there can be a massive caloric discrepancy.
Eg: intake on a day with a 1.5 hour run would be 3000 cals, rest day cals at 2200.

Ability to add 4-5 meals for 1400 & 1500 cals
A lot of clients like snacks and right now it isn’t possible to give them that if they are on less calories. You already adjust recipes and add food to increase the cals so it should be a simple switch to also decrease the cals in the recipes to adjust to this. 1 egg versus 2 etc

There should be an option to choose like 3 meals and two snacks, vs just 3 meals
I want my clients to be able to have meals & snack ideas to hit their calories with the meal planner. Also, you should be able to mainly enter a calorie and macro count and the meal plans still match it, vs having to do an exact amount of 2200 with a perfect balance of 40/30/30

Client can favorite a recipe in the Smart Meal Planner without tracking it first.
Add a heart or star to recipes so client's can click it to "favorite" or "save"
and keep that recipe in their plan, or to be able to refer back to in the future. This would not require the recipe to be added in the tracker first, which is what is required now.1 vote
