Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to customize the kcal goal for each meal

    I would like the ability to customize the kcal for each specific meal. This so that clients who prefer a bigger meal at the beginning or end of the day can have that. Or people who want to have smaller snacks. When i have a client who has 2000 kcal as a goal it gives him a snack of 500 kcal when i change the meals from 3 to 4 per day.

  2. Meal Planner Suggestion

    Hi, I have some ideas or suggestions for the meal planner from a coach’s perspective. The macro percentages could have more options, or the option to switch to grams. Clients trying to build muscle often have eccessively high protein intakes when taking up their calories, as the protein is always 30 %. Similarly, when going lower in calories, I think the protein amount should stay the same, by having the ability to adjust grams, not percentages.

    I also think for outside the USA coaches and clients, some more simple recipes could be added, that don’t include hard to find ingredients…

  3. Custom Recipe Library

    Please give clients the option to view the entire library of custom recipes/meals. All recipes I recommend our clients shown in a overview.

    I want them to be able to track with MyFitnessPal AND see all our recipes within a Overview. A online Recipe INSPO Page for their own tracking.

  4. Make the nutrition feature more personalisable

    Some of my clients prefer to have a larger lunch and small dinner, some do intermittent fasting, and most like to have snacks.
    Currently the meal planner automatically splits the calories into the meals specified, but doesn't let you specify roughly what distribution across meals you would like OR allow for snacks. Having a category for snacks, and the option to specify the calorie distribution per meal, number of snacks etc would be great.

  9. Meal Plan Generator for Custom Macros

    It would be super helpful to be able to use the meal plan generator for custom macros. Right now, the generator will only adapt to specific percentage breakdowns. Not every client falls into the 40-30-30 umbrella or the other options available.

    The grocery list is great! But for us Europeans it's very hard to understand how much spinach is needed if it says 2 cups. We have no idea. So please add the function of using grams and kgs as well.

    Ingredients in the meal planner shouldn't have brand names listed.

    It's not standard practice in any recipes and it's off-putting to clients, who then think that if they don't have that exact brand, they can't make the meal.

  14. Allocate however many calories we want for each meal when we choose in Smart Meal Planner

    When choosing x amount of meals to generate a meal plan, I want to have the option to choose the amount of calories for each meal.

    For example, I choose 4 meals for my client, I want to allocate :

    500 calories for meal 1

    600 calories for meal 2

    600 calories for meal 3

    200 calories for meal 4

    I don't want it to only distribute the calories evenly, I want the choice so I they can have smaller snacks etc

  16. It would be great to have the meal planner come with a grocery list

    The amount of ingredients in the meals can be overwhelming. But it'd be helpful to have all of them be input into a grocery list that can be integrated with Instacart or Amazon Fresh. Other services like Eatthismuch do this

  18. Give trainers the option to change an ingredient.

    For example, instead of the suggested pea protein, we can change it to whey protein, ect. Or instead of flank steak, we can change it to bison meat, or lean ground beef.
