This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Please restore the ability to show names of those signed up

    Please restore the ability to see Only First names of other users signed up for a session. This helps with session planning and coordination. For those concerned with privacy and showing the names, give an option to individual users to not show their names when they sign up for a Session.

    The feature to view user names should not be taken away completely, a recent app upgrade on 5/7/2025 has removed the ability to see who else is signed up for the session.

  2. A ‘Session Overview’ button within each client’s profile, displaying all scheduled, past, available sessions for streamlined management

    Session Tracking Enhancements to Improve Trainer & Client Experience

    1. Problem

    As a trainer managing high volumes of recurring sessions, I’ve noticed a key inefficiency: there’s no centralized view within a client’s profile to track their session history—what’s scheduled, what’s been used, and what remains.

    Currently, I must:

    • Manually sift through the calendar week-by-week to count sessions
    • Deduct from the session credit count without any way to confirm attendance (e.g., check-in or cancellation status)
    • Address client questions about remaining sessions without immediate or confident answers

  3. Double Book Different Appointment Type

    Clients need to be able to book to come in to the training room for self-service options like cardio or mobility work assigned to them while I work with other clients. The time slots only allow one type of appointment at the moment so I can't see what the needs of the people coming in are if they book under the only type available.

  6. Checkin Clients to Classes and weekly reports on attendance

    Allow us to check clients in and if they no show send them an automated message. At the end of the week create a report to see which clients didnt show up for all their workouts that their plan is (2x or 3x a week) so we can reach out to them.

  7. notify trainers when a client schedules and/or cancels a group class

    For trainers with small group classes, notify the trainer when a client signs up and or cancels their spot in the class. This will keep us from having to check so frequently if a client signed up or decides to change their class time or day.

  8. Ability to add link to booking portal in places that aren't Trainerize.

  9. Message All Clients Booked in Group/Class

    The trainer assigned to a Group/Class session should be able to message all clients booked for a session in a group message from the Calendar instead of trying to do the same from the Messages in another browser tab adding one client at a time - very time consuming and inaccurate.

  10. Coach able to schedule Repeat Classes & 1:1 Appointments beyond 5 week restriction & book clients into those repeated sessions

    I have private, semi-private & small groups who sign up for a school term at a time ranging from 9-11 weeks long.

    It is far more effective for me as the coach to schedule all 22 sessions per week & invite all the clients with a product that suits their budget at the time of scheduling so their name is added to every session over the 9-11 week period.

    My business policy is that if they miss a session then they lose a session unless they go into app & cancel for medical reasons.

  12. Defining session credits to all clients selected in the clients sector and chosing from existing products without using in-app payments.

    Whilst there is already a function to define session credits for clients, the downside of it is, that you always need to create a brand new product/ service to link it to.

    However, it would be highly beneficial, if whilst not using the in-app-payment option, to still be able to work with session credits linked to products that have already been designed in the app.

  13. Allow coaches to setup recurring booking credits without linked payment

    Right now, If we wanted to add recurring booking credits to a clients account, they have to be charged directly for the credits.

    This means:
    We can't give free trials with recurring credits.
    We can't allow a client to attend without paying through TZ because they may be getting free training or they are paying by other means.
    We can't edit/cancel the payment or credits without also editing or canceling the payments.

    I suggest simply removing the requirement for a recurring credit package to be paid for directly. We could still attach a payment to it if we'd like or…

  16. More variety on Appt and Group/Class times

    Currently, can only create appt and group/class times at, for example 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, or 9:45. Being able to create an appt or group/class at, for example 9:05 or 9:50, would be a game changer for SGPT Facility.

  17. Automatically add waitlisted persons to class when the spot opens

    Please automotically add the waitlisted person to class when the spot opens. I've received several notifications that spot opened up but by the time I go to enroll, the spot has already been taken. If tI was he fperirst son on the waitlist, should d get the spot - that's how waitlists are supposed to work. People shouldnhav't e to go back and sign up again. Also, please let waitlisted individuals know where they fall on the list or at least how many spots are available on the waitlist.

  20. Ability to see when a trainer is off on the master calendar

    We're currently able to block off time when a trainer is unavailable/on vacation, but when looking at the master calendar, it cannot be seen. I'd like to be able to see "off" days when I schedule my clients weeks ahead so I'm not mistakenly booking them for sessions on those days. Currently, Trainerize allows trainers to schedule clients on times when when vacation or off hours are scheduled. It only blocks those times on the client side.
