Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Calendar Functions

    Be able to “select all” or select multiple items on the calendar to delete.... it you have to change workouts or another task, it can be tedious to have to do it 30x instead of just once.

  2. Adding non-training programs/events to clients calendar

    I would like to capture dates on my clients calendar like (with reminder options):
    - Start of Nutrition Plan
    - End of Nutrition Plan
    - Significant client event ex. Wedding or Photoshoot
    - Month of fasting for Ramadan

  3. Option to have “REST” periods be a video

    The ability to have as an option a custom video as your rest. Instead of just a countdown timer solely. To be able to have the trainers face during say a 30 second or one minute rest. Let the client know that the next exercise or circuit might have a different set of equipment is a pretty cool way of keeping it very personal

    Way less boring and would bring the experience to life more .

  4. Allow master program workouts to be added to the calendar like client customozed workouts

    It's very simple to schedule workouts for the month for a clients customized program, however not so much for a master program. It would be great if it was just as easy where you could select the workout and put it in multiple days at a time, just like the individual custom programs.

  5. Option to "favorite" a workout

    It would be nice to have the option heart/"favorite" a workout for my own personal library when putting together programs. E.g. when I was building a workout for one client, I saw some other ideas I wanted to save and reference later.

  6. view entire Client Calendar workouts to help with programming flow

    Currently you CAN NOT open a clients calendar and easily see on previous days what workout/ movements/ exercises were completed. If you could allow previous workouts to be viewed in the Client calendar, and simply edit a specific day with the whole calendar open, while still seeing previous days... this would allow a easier flow and visual to make sure as the trainer you didn't accidentally program the same thing or similar movement.

    Fix: When clients are in a hurry to end the workout and hit done, trainerize defaults to a 1 on the RPE scale. It’s hard to know if that was intentional or the client was in a hurry. Wish it would default to nothing and then the client could add a score or leave it at zero.

  12. Scrolling Ability on phone for longer exercise text descriptions

    Currently, my clients cannot scroll down to see all the text in the exercise description. I use Trainerize to train climbers, so the exercise descriptions for climbing drills are often very long. We need the ability to see all the text on the app. Please incorporate this as soon as you can, thank you!

  13. How the exercises are put into the workout builder

    When I try to put workouts on the workout builder, when my workout builder is full, the last exercise goes under almost everytime and makes me have to double work because the scrolling effect of lowering the dragged exercise into the builder is not there.
    Also, when I'm making the exercises, I don't like having to add 3 of each exercise which is what I always forget to do. I'd like to have the option to copy and paste. Please make that available and fix the scrolling of the workout builder and or change the position of it.

  17. blank textbox for workout programming

    I would love an options to enter programming in a textbox format instead of adding movements individually. For example, if you add an option in the initial workout creation that generates a text box just like this forum for me to input my workout. Then I can add supplemental videos for odd movements. This would make it more CrossFit friendly for us trainers that are certified or programming this way.

  18. Archiving Workout Programs

    I have some clients with special modifications within their programs. If they leave for a period of time, I would love to have the ability to archive the program I build similar to how I archive a client so that I can reference it in the future but it doesn't take up a ton of room in my Master Programs dashboard. Maybe the option to set as Active and Inactive similiar to the "Shared" and "Mine" Fodlers

  19. Undo delete button, estimated calculated workout length

    An undo button for when I accidentally delete workouts!
    Somehow something that calculates how long the workout would be as we create it (not sure if this is possible with YouTube workout clips that aren’t from the trainerize library

  20. Enter in descriptions for particular sets or circuits

    Yes, I know there is a note textbox. But I would like the option to enter in short descriptions of each set, circuit, etc.
    For example, If I am building an AMRAP circuit at the end of a workout, I'd like for it to say "complete as many rounds as you can in 12 minutes" above the circuit and not just in the comment text box.
