We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Allow to enter meals in advance

    At the moment if I want to add the meals for the week, the tracker will not allow, which is not good. I usually plan my week in advance adding all the meals in MyFitnessPal

  2. take photo of nutrition label when barcode is not recognized

    If a barcode is not recognized, it would be awesome if the user could take a picture of the nutrition label on the food and have the app auto fill the data so the user doesn't have to manually add the details.

  3. Connect to Oura Ring

    My sleep tracking, daily steps, resting heart rate, as well as calories burned would be much more accurate if the app could connect to my Oura ring.

  5. Automatically skip the meal photo request when tracking full calories/macros

    I log 6 meals a day and never post photos. It gets irritating to have to “skip photo” every single time I log a meal or snack. This is a useless feature and should not be the default setting when you first want to log a meal, it should just be an optional add-in for whoever likes posting photos of their food.

  7. Pull workouts from Apple Watch’s own workout app or Apple Health

    Import workouts tracked within the Apple workout, Peleton or other apps written to Apple Health into the app for my trainer to see.

  11. Allow the ability to switch from lbs to kg during a workout, and type in the resistance such as, half in mini band.

    Being able to switch from lbs to kg in the app and when creating a template. ie: exercise A back squats @135lbs superset with exercise B Kettlebell swings w/ 24kg. Also, typing in the resistance such as 5 box jumps one week client started on a 12inch box but wants in change it to a 16inch box. i.e. Set 1: 5 reps, 12"
    Set 2: 5 reps, 16"
    Also the ability to write in a band size or color for the resistance. i.e. Band pull apart 25 reps, half inch band or Purple mini band

  12. Keep my previous weight and unit for food. SOOOOO annoying to have to change the unit and amount every single time ..

    Keep the units as last entry. STOP defaulting back to ml or cups or whatever! Keep it as I entered and I will change it if I want. So annoying to have to change it every single time. Also why do you ask for feedback when you make no changes? It’s been the same for the years I’ve used this APP

  13. Sub out ingredients versus the whole meal

    It would be nice if you could just sub out or ommit an ingredient and it adjust your Macros then having to sub out the whole meal. For instance a wrap has avocados but I just want to ommit or replace the avocado not necessarily the whole meal.

  14. Allow exercise substitutions to stick permanently

    If I substitute an exercise, it’s not just for that day, it’s for the duration of that split. But my subscriptions always disappear and the original move is back.

  15. When playing music, the app lowers volume when the in-app timer is going off. But after it lowers, it doesn’t put the music back up.

    This only whappens when the app is open. If the timer comes through a notification, all good - music resumes at normal volume. If the app is open and the timer goes off, music lowers, does not go back up until I go to one of the training videos, play the video, then exit out of the training vid selection for the music to go back up.

  16. Allow samsung health to connect to the app to sync steps and activity

    The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Samsung Health application on your Samsung phone are not currently synchronizing data with this application. Integrating or enabling connectivity with Samsung Health would significantly improve the app's functionality and efficiency by automating the transfer of sleep data, step counts, and activity metrics.

  17. The app should sync the workout summary data from Fitbit; not just the resting heart rate.

    When you workout using Fitbit it shows after the workout a summary of heart rate; ups and does and avg; calories; time: the app should sync that info and add it to that day for a better view of your workout and effort; instead of going into to separate apps

  19. Show the amount of fat, protein and carb per food. Show what gives this the highest fats and protein so you know what makes things good/bad

    You can’t see which foods caused you to go over your goals. Provide food feedback on what is high and should be considered.

  20. Allow for notes on exercises

    If I am doing banded chin ups, I would like have notes to say I did 10 x at a blue resistance band, 8 × yellow resistsnce etc. Allowing notes per excercise makes it easier to track results. Writing the colour or type of resistance band level. Even with machinery, we have matrix machines, hammer strength, life fitness, multiple of the same machine and for example the weight I can pull down on a lat pull down machine is different depending on the brand used. An option to add free text to that specific exercise which carries across each week.
