We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Identify key muscle groups for each exercise

    Include muscle groups the exercise is supposed to be hitting. For example, heel elevated goblet squats - quads. Or Bulgarian split squat - glutes and quads.

  3. Ability to add your own exercises if the database doesn’t contain it.

    Too often a machine or general exercise isn’t in the data base so a substitute has to be found. The ability to add something would vastly improve tracking

    Examples are:

    High Row
    Low Row
    Recumbent bike
    Exercise bike.

  4. Be able to see the macros/nutritional value for each individual food and meal

    I like to double check that all nutritional values are correct for my foods,as they are often out a bit since I love so rurally, and I like to see how each meal looked for a better idea of where I could adjust

  5. Sub out ingredients versus the whole meal

    It would be nice if you could just sub out or ommit an ingredient and it adjust your Macros then having to sub out the whole meal. For instance a wrap has avocados but I just want to ommit or replace the avocado not necessarily the whole meal.

  6. Ability to delete extra set

    If you add a set to a workout, you should be able to delete the line item.

  7. Automatically skip the meal photo request

    I log 6 meals a day and never post photos. It gets irritating to have to “skip photo” every single time I log a meal or snack. This is a useless feature and should not be the default setting when you first want to log a meal, it should just be an optional add-in for whoever likes posting photos of their food.

  8. Allow to manually enter recipe not from the app and be able to have the app covert it to caloric intake by the measurement.

    We should be able to add our own recipe and figure out the caloric value by the recipe measurements. We should be able to save it in a recipe library where others can use similar to fitness pal app. Also, we should be able to change the dietary restrictions, so the recipes are specific to the individuals.

  10. Show total loss on homepage

    Show total amount lost in homepage as well as current weight to motivate and incentivise users.

  11. Weights vs Volume

    All ingredients should be in grams or ounces. 1/2 an avocado can be a very different amount depending on your avocados. It's also easier to just weigh everything on a kitchen scale that it is to pull out measuring cups

  14. Allow multiple food photos uploads for meals

    Allow upload of multiple food photos per meal. Sometimes I eat in stages and not just breakfast, lunch and dinner with one snack.

  15. Fitbit sync

    Trainerize sync activity/workouts (both ways) with fitbit has stopped , it maybe coincidentally when I started using fitbit charge 5, can you fix this please

  16. Allow to share a list of equipment I have to trainer

    Have a place where we can list the items we have available in our home gym so our trainer knows what's available for use!

  18. Plan AHEAD!

    I would love the option to plan at least a full week ahead of time. Being able to meal prep the week on my sunday is important to me and saves my falling off the wagon mid week

  19. Check-in Widget

    Add a CHECK-IN widget where clients can check-in weekly by answering a few multiple choice questions about their progress like: program COMPLIANCE (following the program, following sometimes, not following), HUNGER (satisfied, sometimes hungry, always hungry), ENERGY (lots, some, none), SLEEP (sleeping well, no perfect, can't sleep), MOOD (happy, moderate, cranky)... just as an example.

    It will save me from having to generate questions for them to answer. Once they answer the questions and click a COMPLETE button, it will come over to me as a MESSAGE, with CHECK-IN at the top of the message.
