YES!
I really try working with my clients on improving their habits, but the thing is they kind of forget about the habits when they only receive 1 notification/day, and certain habits (like drinking water) would work better with multiple reminders across the day.
I have found a very interesting To-Do app with amazing Habit Functions which Trainerize could implement to improve this feature. The app is called TickTick. I would love to do in Trainerize as a coach what I can do with the TickTick app.
Maybe Trainerize could somehow integrate with TickTick. That would save a lot of time for the developers I guess.
Some examples of Habit functions:
- Scheduled reminders by the coach (but also modifiable by the client)- Pop-Up notifications to complete the Habit without getting into the app.
- See Habit Completion per day. Like if the client only drank 3 glasses of water instead of 4 glasses, show a bar or circle with 75% of habit goal.
- Habit Snooze, so if a client doesn't have the time to drink water when the app reminds him to, he could snooze the notification with 15 mins, 30 mins, 1hour, 2 hours etc.- Integrate certain Habits with the Widget metrics. So, for example, if we have a "5000 Steps a day" Habit, then it's completion should be either Manual or Automatic using the number of steps registered in the Step Count Window. The same with sleep or calorie burn. This function already works with the Weight. When the weight is updated, the goal also updates automatically.
- Make Habits viewable in the clients personal calendar (like Google Calendar, iCloud Calendar etc.)
These are all my ideas on this topic for the moment.

Yes! I actually got this suggestion from a client. Having the ability to rate each exercise within a workout would give us much more insight than only rating the overall workout at the end. Especially when we assign different RPE/Effort levels for each exercise and we want to see if the client actually followed the instructions.
Also, adding a note to each exercise would be helpful. It happens quite often to see clients change exercise order or do a different exercise because the machines/benches are occupied and they just don't have the time to wait for them to free up. So a quick note would help.
A quick note would also be helpful in many other situations "not performing well on an exercise, but performing well on others", "performing very well on an exercise at which previously the client had trouble" and stuff like this.

I would focus on simple movements for each body part. The main reason behind warm-ups is to actually warm-up the muscles and the connective tissues.
I have shared here 2 links with my warm-up routine, 1 for upper body and 1 for lower body.
1) Upper Body Warm-Up Routine: https://youtu.be/fj_laN38KJ4
2) Lower Body Warm-Up Routine: https://youtu.be/oVe_ktXlDcsAlong with this idea, you could maybe add a "Warm-Up" category for the video exercises. Like we have Plyometrics, strength and stuff, we should also have a Warm-Up section.

This, together with changing the way we can build our workouts will be a big step forward.
I think this would also solve the request on being able to have a "Multi-modal workout" where you can add circuit, interval and regular training phases within the same workout.

A setting allowing for this would be insane. Especially for packages where you want to sell a self-regulating program.
For example: I want to make a guide for how to change your lifestyle based on habits. And I would like people to have the option of changing the habits they want to work on, depending on what they want to focus more or less.
I'll explain the goals for each habit in the guide and teach them how to make a plan, and then they'll just have to pick their habits accordingly to their own plan.

This would be great, but at the same time it would have some limitations due to the fact that the Instructions will remain the same.
It would be nice if this feature would come with a separate set of instructions for each version of the video. So, for example, for the same exercise in the database:
- The Trainerize Videos will remain with their instructions which will be locked out, as usual
- Our custom video will have it's own set of instructions
- The YouTube video could get the same instructions as the custom videoWhen you choose which version of the video you want to use, then the instructions will change accordingly.
I have no idea if this would be possible, but it might be a good idea.

This sounds interesting! It would definitely be a really nice function to have. Don't know how or if it's possible from a technical point of view, but it would sure make things easier when making Master Programs for a wide selection of people.

BUMP this! Seriously. It has been proposed in 2016 and this functionality still isn't implemented. It would be really useful to see when clients or members of a group have read a message.

Yes, this is a good idea. But I would actually make a reminder for the Habits at the end of each day.
Clients are busy and coaches are busy too. So let's automate this, without having to schedule Autom Messages in a client's calendar and nagging him about checking out their habit. This method could be really annoying, especially if the client has already checked the Habit and you still send him the message.
So, please! Add a daily habit reminder that we (coaches) can set up for each client separately.

Yes! Hoped someone else proposed this idea before me.
It's so annoying having to delete habits and messages one at a time... We should be able to select multiple items by just holding Ctrl or Shift and selecting the items. This is a very common practice in many other software programs. Hope this is an easy one for the Trainerize team to implement.

Yes! This would be insanely useful! I was thinking about it and I knew someone else should have already come up with the idea.
I actually suggest having your own Habits Library, just like with the Workout Videos. That would probably make things easier, keeping everything in the same place. And it would probably be easier to implement the idea of having Master Habits for Master Programs.
The future for Trainerize and its users looks awesome !

I've been using the Appointments tab quite intense lately and I like having my own calendar in the app with all appointments.
However, it is confusing seeing my future appointments and my past appointments the same. Sometimes I even forget for 1 second if I already had an appointment or if the client missed it.
So, I think having the ability to mark an Appointment as Completed or Missed or even Rescheduled would be a nice feature in order to have a more organized calendar.
There is another idea where someone has asked for a "tracking" feature for appointments. I guess having the ability to mark the appointments could also solve the problem of "how to track them".
Waiting for people to come up with more suggestions on this topic maybe.

You can already do this from Settings -> Appointments . You can create your own appointments there.

Hi everyone,
This is something that we are looking into. What additional customizations are you looking for?
Please leave us some comments on some ways you might layer things on top of your program.
Thanks!

I really think this would make things a lot easier since this way we can keep people assigned to a single master program and still individualize their workouts or some of the messages and activities in their program.
So, my scenario looks like this: I would use a master program as a template for everyone who wants to sign up for a Fat Loss Program. In the master program I want to be able to work on Automated Messages that are sent to every client on that specific day of the program. I like sending personalized messages with useful information about fat loss and nutrition.
I would also like to assign Habits in the master program, so that the messages I'm sending go hand-in-hand with the habits they are working on at that time.
And I would like to be able to assign custom workout plans for each client, even though they are all following the same Fat Loss Master Program.
At the moment I have to copy the Master Program and make a custom program for each and every client. And this takes A LOT of time when having to assign New Auto Messages and Habits.
If the Master Program would be already finished that would be easier, but I'm working on it right now and I don't have all my Auto Messages sorted out.. and sometimes I find mistakes that I have to correct. And I have to copy paste the message for every client, which is very time consuming for such a simple task...
I wish this can be sorted out in the near future, as it is yet another small but significant drawback of the Trainerize experience.

I am copying this comment from another idea since I see that this idea is currently Under Review and the comment might get noticed. The original idea where I posted this was about being able to schedule habit notifications/reminders multiple times a day.
