This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    I wanted to share a feature suggestion that I think would massively benefit coaches and improve client results.

    Feature Idea: Automated Weekly Client Check-In Generator

    The idea is for Trainerize to scan each client’s full program and account data at the end of the week, including workouts completed, steps, habits, measurements, progress photos, compliance, and any notes. Based on this, the app would:

    Automatically generate and send a personalized weekly check-in message to the client, summarizing their week (e.g., wins, areas to improve, consistency score, upcoming focus points).

  2. Prevent Harassment from Gym Billing

    Hello Trainerize Team,

    I wanted to share some feedback that might help improve the app experience for users who attempt to cancel their gym memberships. Apparently they make it so it is impossible to ever cancel!

    Right now, when a UFC gym membership is cancelled, accounts remain in a “Cancellation Pending” state. This creates confusion — both for users and for the gyms — because it’s unclear whether the account is truly inactive.   3. Add a client resource folder button to client's profiles for trainers to add videos tutorials or pdf guides for clients

    It would be helpful to have a dedicated Client Resource Folder button within each client’s profile. This feature would allow trainers to easily upload and organize video tutorials, PDF guides, nutrition resources, and other educational materials specific to that client.

    The goal is to create a centralized hub where clients can access all their personalized resources directly inside their app, instead of using external links or email attachments. This would streamline onboarding, improve the coaching experience, and keep client education consistent and easily accessible for both trainers and clients.

  11. Internal Reminders

    App notifications when clients complete a check in form. Also, in the same vein, I'd love the ability to set internal reminders for clients like "build out next phase of program" so I can keep everything more organized for each person.

    Client's able to upload their own files (ie. labwork, physician referrals, physiotherapy exercise prescriptions, etc.) that automatically goes into their attachment tab on their profile for trainers to see.

  14. Trainer Shared Calendars

    It'd be nice to have a central calendar that displays all clients and trainers that are working with them in one spot, with a filter option to see just one of the trainer's schedule. It would help with overseeing the daily schedule, preventing double booking, payroll, and knowing when the studio is in use, for those that use studios.

  15. Right click to delete workout from the calendar

    It would be great to have the option to delete a workout on the client calendar by right clicking that specific workout and having as part of the drop down so you don't have to click into each workout to delete. The batch delete isn't targeted enough and having to drill down into every workout to delete is time consuming.

  17. We should be able to sort by clients who have most recently signed into the training app on the mobile version of the Fitness App

    Right now, you can only do it on the browser version - it would also be cool to see how long ago they most recently signed in underneath their name.

    The mobile version of the app currently does show the time the client most recently signed in underneath their name - BUT it is NOT accurate

  18. Multiple Check-In Forms

    It is great that we have the ability to create a check-in form now within Trainerize, but would love the ability to create check-in forms for each trainer in our account or the ability to have various check-in forms for the different types of clients in our account (in person / hybrid / online / etc).

  19. Client ability to switch location/business without signing out

    It would be great for clients to be able to switch between businesses/locations WITHIN the app rather than them having to constantly sign out then sign in to a new location. I have considered switching to other apps simply because I have clients who work with other trainers who also use Trainerize and it's very frustrating to constantly sign in and out

  20. Trainer email + app push notifications for client completed check-in forms

    When clients currently complete their check-in forms, there is no notification sent to the trainer via email or even an app push notification. Trainers have to manually review the "recent activities" section in the app to see if any check-in forms have been completed. Automatic trainer notifications for important high-priority tasks, like reviewing check-in forms, is vital.
