We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  3. Give basic client's acces to groups and massaging

    I want to give all my basic clients access to my community group in the app and make messaging possible...

    Ok, I'm training them 1on1 in real life but they need contact with others, and want to send me a message, now we use WhatsApp so I think it will be awesome to let the get used to it with Trainerize... And maybe this gives me a great opportunity to make a transition to go online with them after I thought them the basics in real life 1on1 trainings...

  5. Have a 'Resource Section' available to all clients

    Having a section to upload PDF files, longer videos, educational content etc to all clients where they can scroll through to find useful resources from the coach would be very useful.

    Providing content & education is so valuable, this would provide a personal connection to all clients they can refer to. Not all clients have social media, this would ensure they still have access to content we have created for public education/ information.

  6. MacroFactor Integration

    This is a great nutrition tracking app. It would be awesome to see this integrated with Trainerize. Not everyone wants to use MFP.

  7. Syncing garmin with calendar activities

    I have a few running clients that use Garmin and I love that it syncs now, but when a client has a run on their schedule it adds the completed run but doesn’t mark the calendar entry as complete.

  10. Being able to have meals to stay within calorie range and show similar calories swaps.

    Right now you put calories per day it is always over even by a small % but when you swap it goes over more.

  12. Sell add-on products with core products on same sales page to upsell efficiently.

    Similarly to the way Stripe offers cross-sells, it would be very handy and effective to be able to list add-on products with core products on the same checkout page (just click and add).

  13. More admin controls over group messaging

    The ability to remove messages if they go against community guidelines: profanity, offensive, overly negative, scandalous pics, etc.

    Huge fear of mine as my community grows is someone posting something inappropriate and not having any control over removing/deleting it.

  15. Allow trainers to be able to toggle between their trainer accounts

    Some of our trainers have their own personal training business in which they also use trainerize. They would love the option to toggle between their trainerize accounts instead of logging out and logging back in

  16. Personalised first invite mail

    It would be great to adjust the first welcome email with own branded logo. Now a lot of it is made in English whilst my clients are Dutch mostly.

    Also the tiny letters for downloading the app in this mail is very unclear and a lot of times missed.

  17. Daily Weigh-In Zaps to Google Sheet

    An amazing feature would be to Zap in REAL-TIME a client's Daily Weigh-Ins, Measurements, and Calorie Intake into Google Sheets.

    This would also eliminate hiring data entry staff. Money saved, efficiency gained.

  18. Trend Line For body weight Progress

    Would love it if there was a quick button that would generate a trendline based on the data points provided. Especially for long-term weight loss, it's great to be able to show the trend so clients can better understand weight fluctuations and long-term progress.

  20. Custom measurements

    The ability to add custom measurement sites like big toe (joking) but sites that relate to proportion like wrist, ankle, head, forearm length, humerus length, wing span, thigh length, tibia length etc etc. Doesn’t have to be shown on the diagram like the other measurements but just a “custom measurements” box that the trainer can select then write in what measurement they want.
