nutrition and macro split
set different calorie and macro targets within the same week based on training days vs rest days? For example, higher carbs on workout days and lower carbs/higher fats on non-training days. this need to be a priority to fix

Water Goal
I love that water tracking has been integrated in the app! It would be really cool to set a water goal just like setting a nutrition goal. That way clients have a target to reach for.
It would also be really cool for me, the coach, to have the ability to change the unit of measurement from mL to oz for my clients to make their lives a little easier.

RPE is a score given to each set, not the overall workout.
The whole point of RPE is that it allows you to progress your workout. Giving RPE to entire workout is uselss.

APPLY NOTES DIRECTLY TO A CLIENT'S WEIGHT TIMELIME.
I would love to see a feature where we can add notes directly to a client's weight timeline to help identify weight trends and relationships between what caused a specific trend at a specific time. For example, I would love to be able to add a tick mark (note) to a date where they start prep, implement an enhancement, go on vacation, get sick, etc. So, we can easily see exactly when we started or implemented a variable and how they're weight trended as an effect.

insights dashboard
for the insights dashboard, it would be great if you could pick the dates/week like you can for weekly compliance. I'd like to check step average for the previous week but it only goes back a week from the day your looking at it.

Feature Request: Enhancing Nutrition Plan Flexibility & Customization
Dear Trainerize Support and Development Team,
I am writing to suggest a few enhancements to the Nutrition Plan module. These updates would significantly improve the coaching experience and provide clients with a more personalized and professional journey.
- Custom Day Labeling (Beyond Day 1, Day 2)
Currently, days are locked as "Day 1," "Day 2," etc. I recommend allowing coaches to rename these days.
- Use case: This is especially important for carb cycling or specific training phases (e.g., renaming a day to "High Carb," "Low Carb," "Refeed Day," or "Rest Day").
- Customizable Meal Names
Coaches should be able to rename generic…

Group Class Attendee Info
For Group Fitness Roster's we'd love to see how many class check-ins they have total and we'd like an icon next to their name on the roster to denote a birthday. As Group Instructors we just see the name and whether they're signed in. We'd like to give shout outs to milestone numbers of classes and shout outs for birthdays.

ADD INDIVIDUAL FOODS TO MEAL PLAN
Love the new meal plan builder but you can only add recipes, i think a crucial addition is needed, being the ability to add individual foods. for example just having ability to input an apple or a banana etc. should be simple

The Missing Feature: %-Based Lifting & Program Merging
I work with a lot of coaches and clients who use percentage-based lifts — for example, 4×4 @ 80%.
Right now, that means I have to:
• Check each client’s projected 1RM
• Calculate their individual 80%
• Manually input that number, client by clientIt’s slow, clunky, and completely unnecessary.
Why isn’t there an option to:
• Program percentage-based lifting directly inside a program, and
• Create a master program for key lifts (e.g. bench periodisation)
• Then merge and order it with the client’s main program? The client experience could be:
• One calendar
• One session flow…2 votes -
Copy & Paste Workouts
How are we almost in 2026 and there's still no ability to copy and paste workouts on a clients calendar? Not too mention if I create a workout for the day on a clients calendar I have no ability to save it, copy it, or anything other than set up rigid recurring for it. I've been using this app for over 3 years now and while all the features are great - the lack of this feature is a huge disappointment still.

Client can access Nutrition center & progress
It would be nice if when the client clicks open their nutrition center they are able to see the same information we see
Average calories for the week
Average protein for the week
How many meals logged
Etc.Right now the clients nutrition center is just visual. It would be best if there was also text explaining what the data means a little more.

When generating a meal plan, can there be an option to include/exclude the following tags?
High Fiber, One pot, Instant pot, Slow cooker, Salad, Soup, Smoothie, Simple meals, No cooking. The option is there when on the meal swap page but not when generating a plan. Thanks.

Make programming more efficient.
I like a lot of features of Trainerize and really want to keep using it, but programming is extremely tedious and inefficient as compared to something like coachRX. Vital features to improve programming efficiency:
Ability to holistically see client's programming WHILE programming their new workout. This is critical. Without this feature I will leave Trainerize and transition to coachRx.
I shouldn't need to scroll through a dropdown to select a time. Just let me type in the number.
In the spreadsheet editing view, have bigger text boxes. I should be able to see the entirety of what I typed and…

Ability to add foods, not just recipes to the meal plan builder (including the new beta)
At the moment with the smart meal planner and the in beta flexible meal planner, you can only add recipes. Some clients have meals or snacks that are not recipes, they might be seperate foods put together to make a snack and we may also want to adjust the calories in a snack and remove one, or some of the foods in that snack or meal. E.g. - alot of my clients have a steak, veg and potato dinner option, they do not all eat the same amounts, i dont want to create a seperate steak recipe for everyone. I…
