This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Longer videos in the attachment section of the client's profile

    In the attachment section of the client's profiles, there is a limit of around 8mb (1 minute max, sometimes even less, 50 seconds or so) for video uploads. This section would be really useful for any trainers that want to upload mobility tests that clients have done to track their progress. This way the trainer can track how the client has progressed from the start. This is the same for any exercises that the client may have had issues with.   3. Ability to create meal plans for carb cycling (high carb training days, lower carb non training days)

  5. Exercise Flagging by Clients

    Exercise Flagging - When a client wants to change an exercise, he/she can flag the exercise and the trainer sees all flagged exercises for each client in the dashboard so he can easily change or modify the exercises.

    Another example, a client needs additional instructions on a particular exercise so he flags the exercise as "Require more information" or something similar.

    This would make our life as Trainers much easier. At the moment the only option is to have clients leave comments after their workouts, but this means that we have to read every note of each workout. I do…

  7. Menstrual period tracking in app and shade the weight loss graph a different colour for coaches

  8. Schedule tasks/habits or activities for specific times of the day

    It would be nice to be able to schedule reminders for different tasks, habits or activities for different times of the day. This is a feature I've seen in PT Distinction and it's actually a feature used by many Calendar Apps.

    At the moment, in Trainerize you can only schedule Private Messages for different times of the day. All other stuff on a client's calendar: Habits, Workout, Cardio, Photos and Body Stats only have a daily reminder which is set for a particular time of the day (Default is 8AM I think and only the clients can change this daily…

  11. self book recurring appointments

    The ability for clients to self-book recurring appointments. If they attend the same appointment every week, be able to book that appointment as recurring. Right now the trainer has to schedule recurring appointments.

  12. Put notes on calendar

    It would be helpful if I, as a client, could put notes in on the calendar to, for example, mark events that could limit my ability to work out (travel, work, etc).

  14. Bulk batch cooking or doubling recipe for people who meal prep or want to share meals with family.

    It would be nice if recipes portions could be multiplied for bulk batch cooking (meal prep) or if more than one person is catered for or You want to eat leftovers for lunch & save time cooking.

  15. Allow clients to pause workouts and come back without having to click "save"

    Many of my clients have brought to my attention they would like to be able to pause their workouts. In cases where they need to break up their workout they aren't able to pause a workout half way, just save and finish the workout.

  16. A daily habit score card for subjective data ie. sleep quality, mood, digestion, stress

    The ability to set daily habits that have a subjective score would be very useful. For example, the client can rate their sleep quality or mood 1-10.
    Giving the coach a greater look into how the client's week has gone and what may have affected training performance/ adherence.
