This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Exercise Variations/Options

    It would be useful to be able to set suggested variations for exercises

    E.g.

    Exercise 1 - Bench press (Barbbell)

    If client doesnt have that piece of equipment they can select from a trainer suggested selection of swap ins.
    Trainer could then select, Db bench, chest press machine etc as suggested swaps

    Then if client makes the change, it allows them to permanently change that in their programme

  2. "Free" program that isn't part of a trial

    I run all of my payments and landing pages through Kajabi. I use Trainerize as a bonus add-on. Since clients have already paid for the course, I don't want them to pay to use trainerize. Is there a way to create a product link that is free?

  3. Filter the calendar view for workouts, cardio, appts

    It would be a great review and efficiency feature to be able to filter a client's calendar view to show only one or a combination of items displayed;
    1) Workouts
    2) Nutrition
    3) Cardio / Activity
    4) Appointments
    5) Body Stats
    6) Habits

  4. Ability to help client enter foods as a trainer

    Ability to help client enter food details from meal photo. In trainers app you could look at client's photo and add the food items to find out macros. That way if you are managing a client on your own you could even help track as a starter.

  5. Auto switch clients

    Trainerize should automatically migrate clients between trainers when they are rescheduled in our DataTrak portal, without having to get a manager to re-assign them

  6. Unilateral tracking

    Have the option to track the left and right sides for unilateral exercises. Also, have the option to open more than one client at a time if you are doing group training.

  7. Add a Photos tab to the Groups Sidebar

    Much like how files are being saved to the right-hand sidebar once they are uploaded into a Group, also have photos do the same thing! :)
    This will be very helpful with large groups and tracking both photos and files.

  8. send exercise in message

    I want to be able to share an exercise directly from the message box. I wish I could search inside the message for an exercise like I can while creating a workout.

    This instance I"m trying to share a warm up exercise for bad shoulder mobility and this client is on a membership master workout program so I can't just put it in her program.

  9. Ascending or decending sets

    When designing a program, allow for ascending or decending sets concerning reps instead of just strait sets. The way it is now, you have to put an example of the rep scheme in the program description.

  10. Be allowed to put multiple workouts to possibly purchase on checkout page

    Having multiple programs within the same catagory takes up a lot of space on a page if you have a seperate site. This would be the case if you had say 5-10 6 week programs under a certain catagory like "weight loss" or "Strength" workouts. Being able to use a single link to checkout on your site providing the choice of each program purchased individually or as a group in checkout would assist in making ones site look nice. This would also allow the potential client the choice of all the programs. This way they wouldn't have to go back…

  11. Ability to repeat calendar items (like auto messages) farther than 4 weeks apart

    Currently, automated messages or anything else can only be scheduled 4 weeks apart. When reminding a client to perform a benchmark workout, 4 weeks is too short a period, as benchmarks need to be done 6-12 weeks apart. It would be very useful to allow more than a 1-month gap between messages. Up to 12 weeks apart is good. Thank you!

  12. Option to view a list of everyone’s workouts for the day in trainer overview

    It would be great to scroll through clients workouts on the overview page like a Facebook feed. I’m currently doing outdoor 1:1 during lockdown & have found it time consuming opening each clients profile to see their program.

    It would also be nice to be able to see online clients workouts they have completed on the feed too rather than have to open their profile.

    Great app too. Am loving it so far!

  13. Ability to pin ads on the dashboard to upgrade or buy session packs

    I would like the ability to post a banner to ask members to buy session packs or upgrade to a nutrition coaching add-on on the dashboard.

  15. Show active or in-progress workouts on trainer dashboard for easy navigation.

    Similar to the feed of completed workouts, it would be nice to have all open or in-progress workouts displayed on the trainer dashboard.

    For example in the Recent Activity feed, "Jane Smith started Workout A at 11:00am"

    Right now, you have to hunt the client down and click through their profile to get the open workout. This would be extra convenient for those that work with multiple clients at a time in a studio setting.

  16. Ability to set resistance/weight goals for each entry when scheduling workouts

    Currently when a workout is scheduled we can only schedule the workout with a desired weight setup in the program itself, which would be the same each time the workout is performed.

    I would like to increase the weight with each workout; in order to do that, it appears I would have to create a new workout in the program with the same exercises just to increase the weight.

    The ability to update different parameters/attributes of the exercises (reps, sets, resistance) when scheduling as well as being able to modify a workout when looking at the scheduled workout on the…

  17. Re-Phase

    Maybe there is already a way to do this but if you are programing in phases there should be an option for you to re-phase someone who missed to many workouts. once you move to the next phase you can't use workouts from the last which should be allowed

  18. A large space to write notes on that client (like a google doc).

    Possibly have it as an additional tab when you are on that clients profile so you dont have to keep switching back and forth between trainerize and google docs!

  19. Request clients that regularly use the app to add a review on the App Store

    Clients only add a review when they want to complain about something. Make it like the other apps where if a user frequently uses the app, send them to the App Store to rate the app.
