Recipes need gram per weight serving size
Instead of recipes just saying 6 servings, it would be extremely useful if the serving size was in grams. This would make shopping and meal planning and customizing much easier for the client.

Monitor added sugars
I am big into having my clients watch their added sugar intake. I don't see a location where myself or my clients can see "added sugars" and would love this!

Separate Meal Plan from Nutrition Goals
I don't mind the options for a general calorie goal and split (balanced) as options in the meal planner, however, having it automatically update the client's nutrition goals doesn't make sense as their goals aren't going to be exactly in line with the split. The meal planner can still be used for general guidance to hit the goals I have set, but it shouldn't automatically change the goals I have for them. For example, I have a client whose current goals are 2580 calories, 165g protein, 300g carbs and 80g fat. Selecting the 2600 calorie goal for them with a…

Medical Dietary Needs Flags
Some clients have medical needs that need to be accounted for, like requiring low glycemic foods (diabetic). Additional flags to help build meal plans around this sort of need is important.

Option to select meals that you want of have added
I am trying to help my clients eat and follow flexible nutrition. I have added a days worth of recipes for a 1700 cal day. I would like to be able to add 6 meals and select the meals I have added that calculate to the 1700 cals but this meal planner will not allow me to do this. This is very high up on my preferences.
For example my 1700 cal day - the meals I added are:
Breakfast - Waffles with Berries and Yoghurt
Snack - Berrie Protein Smoothie
Lunch - Crispy Chicken Rice Bowl
Snack - Veggies…3 votes -

More snack ideas on balanced macro split
I only ever see the same snack options to pick when having “balanced” macros which most my clients have yet there are soooo many options in discover or popcorn / fruit and whipped cream can’t be given on “balanced” macros? The other macro spilts are too high protein so I mainly use balanced - but lack of snacks.

customizing sample days
Is there a way that we can make it so the calories can be different for different sample days of the meal plan? ie: Day 1 higher calories Day 2 lower (and, maybe be able to label them- instead of Day 1 could change it do something else like Training day or Non Training Day)

Include 25% Protein, 50% Carb, 25% Fat
Important for performance focused clients who have high energy demands related to their training (endurance athletes, soccer players, etc).
The current protein recommendations are way over 1g/lb or 2.2g/kg of protein if the client has a high TDEE

Include more meals without protein powder
It would be great to have some food options for my clients that do not include scoops of protein powder. Most modern societies have adequate amounts of protein as it is.
I find my options are very limited3 votes -
allowing us to exclude more foods/allergies
I have a client that is allergic to tomatoes. It would be very helpful if we could choose other things to exclude in the meal plan rather than just the preset ones that trainerize has already picked
