Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Allow nutrition data to be viewed in grams rather than percentages.

    I utilize and emphasize nutrition be tracked in grams rather than percentages, since percentages are subjective to what calorie intake is and grams are an absolute number (important for protein intake especially).

  2. Allow scheduling trainings from the master program to clients calendar.

    I need to have the ability to schedule selected trainings from the masterplan to specific days of the week in clients calendar. So they get training notifications (as in custom programs) and are able to "check in" to a training. Also option for progressions would be very great.

  5. TUT tracking

    A third field of recording time under tension. We can perscribe time under tension in the field for reps. But, we have no way to track if the client has out performed a devious time under tension or total volume of a set that includes time under tension, weight and repetitions.

  6. Targets when substituting exercise

    It would be great if when a client substitutes an exercise if the original targets carried over. Currently it wipes them out so they have no idea how many reps they should be shooting for.

  8. Viewing weights on a specific exercise with various clients

    Add a way to see clients weights all at once on a particular exercise if they are training in the same group. It helps with set-up of weights for strength groups. For example I run semi-private strength groups and have to open each clients individual app to see weights which is extremely time consuming.

  9. Change a current workout on the desktop version, without having to adjust the master workout (currently allows on mobile but not on desktop)

    If you select a specific workout for a client you cannot make changes to that workout on the desktop version, the mobile app does allow this, the mobile app will ask if you want to make the change just for that day or for the program. I would love to be able to tweek current workouts for specific clients from the desktop version.

  10. Ability to mark payment as completed to record offline through cash, cheque, Zelle, Venmo payments

    The ability to record "OFFLINE" payments like cash, check/cheques, Venmo/Zelle/Interac/Revolut in Trainerize Pay to allow for better invoicing tracking. Being able to track payments for online/offline clients would make the business side of things easier to manage.

  11. Add physical address to client's profile info

    Adding client's physical address would allow us to save that info in a convenient spot and have access when we want to send clients a physical product or gift.

  12. Allow clients to be queued or subscribed to a different future program in advance

    At the moment, clients can only be subscribed to one program at a time. This is a problem if a client's program is, for example, ending in two weeks and i want to have them automatically switched to a new program at the end of those two weeks.

    Being able to cue up the program subscription in a future date will help.

  13. Dark mode for people who are color blind

    Customize colour scheme within the app. Specifically, to help those who are colour blind navigate the app more easily. Change it from a white background with black text to a black background with white text.

    Allow different options for building workouts into the programs, i.e. doesn't have to be exclusively a "circuit" or a "regular" kind of workout and can allow various elements to be added to the same workout.

    Also, would be nice to have a free-flow block to record data instead of having to fill out a "speed" or other specific metric that may not be conducive to tracking long-term and constrains how data is recorded.

  20. Nutrition compliance needs a weekday only setting

    Many of my clients only track on the weekdays. I'd love to be able to set the compliance to only look at weekdays when calculating compliance percentage.
