This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Flexible core/add on product pricing and term lengths

    Having the ability to create one package type and be able to sell that same package with a different duration and/or invoice amount.

    Right now I am currently having to create new products each time because either the next client we sell has a different duration than the previous client OR they put more cash down up front to have a lower monthly payment. Instead of being able to sell one (Hybrid package) and set terms and pricing accordingly, I am having to create new products, price points and terms. Very hectic

  2. Add ability to bill in Vietnam

    Please adding Vietnam to Payment Gateway. It is a huge market in Vietnam. 95 millions people and and 40,000 personal trainers. also about 3000 gym centers. I myself have 9 gym centers. Extremely needed the Payment Gateway

  4. Accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment.

    Maybe this is too ambitious, but...Adding cryptocurrency as an option to pay for workout programs would set Trainerize apart from competitors. It would help demonstrate a commitment to innovation and staying current with changing technology and could also attract more high-paying clients. This can be incorporated in a few ways such as connecting to an exchange called Coinbase Commerce.

  5. Customise payment failure message

    The default message for failed payments is both impersonal and harshly worded. Providing access to customise the message would allow for better communication to clients who have had a failed payment.

  6. Allowing for card swiper to be paired to computer/mobile to take credit info (i.e. in gym for membership)

    Some of my older clients are technologically challenged. It would be great to be able to do a POS sale and take their CC info in gym

  8. Clients sign waivers with finger on their app

    On the app Mind Body the professional usually has a waiver and/or agreement that the client can review and sign with their finger.
    This is better than having them view the document, print off, sign, scan and email back. Plus an electronic version on the app through your system seems much more safe.
    I would love to know that my clients can access it first before beginning any exercise programs.
    Maybe an electronic version of the Par-Q would also help with boxes for them to check. All of these additions would help the trainers using this product feel more safe.

  10. Ability to recharge a failed/decline payment after credit card was updated

    Sometimes a person's card was lost or stolen and cannot upload new info in time and the system will not allow us manually to charge a declined card after they have uploaded a new card.

  11. Reminder and Request message that asks the client to approve a payment before it goes through

    My clients get frustrated because with automatic payments there's no notification that they're about to be billed and I'm not notified either. I have to keep a separate calendar on Google to make sure I'm aware of payments going through. Notifications on both sides (admin and client) and a request to confirm with the client that they want to authorize the transaction a few days before billing would be incredible.

  12. Ability to add custom tax rates to our packages

    I think it would be a huge benefit to have the ability to add custom tax rates to Trainerize Pay. For example, here in Ontario, I would add a tax rate of 13% for our HST. This would then allow me to market programs for $99 plus tax, instead of $111.87.

  13. failed payment retry interval

    Currently, the system tries failed payments after 3 days and then after an additional 5 days.
    This is total of 8 days without payment. Way too long regardless of the product.

    For a program/product that is being charged weekly that puts it already on a second invoice failing.
    Needs to at least change it to three tries one day after the other. The best is to let us define the time for each retry, and enable manual charge (i.e. you talk to the customer and they update their credit card info, and then you charge them the due invoice).

    Active clients get subscribed to a product and it sends them an email to enter their card information but they don't get reminders automatically if they don't do it right away.

  16. Add one off purchases on top of weekly recurring charges

    If someone is on a regular recurring weekly payment but they want to add another product, currently I have to cancel that product, process the single payment and then have them reaccept the weekly product.

  17. Option for Product link to be temporarily unavailable

    There is a toggle switch for the Trainerize.me page. The same thing could be done for the link as an On/Off switch. I have a product link I have put in many places however I am now worried about too much traffic/can't take more clients. However if I delete this product/link I will have to manually go everywhere to replace the old link(I've been plugging this link for 3 months on podcasts, youtube vids, websites, social medias etc etc) with the new link when I'm ready to take new clients.   19. Multiple invoicing

    I have clients in recurring invoices that then want to buy extras that would require a separate one time invoice. It would be nice being able to send additional invoices as needed even if someone is already on a recurring invoices set up.
