Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Assign appts to specific staff and allow clients to select any staff qualified for a meeting

    Would love (need) to have the ability to select which staff person is qualified / can take/hold which appts as well as having the option to allow the client the option to select a staff member for their appt instead of being restricted to just the assigned staff member.

  2. Custom Auto-Responder option and message for each "Vacation" period

    It would be fantastic to have a unique autoresponder on/off option and message for each event. It would eliminate the maintenance action necessary to change it from;
    (a) I'm offline for the holiday today, will get back tomorrow.
    (b) I'm offline from XX to YY for ZZ holiday. Hope you have a wonderful holiday and I'll get back to you on ZZ.
    (c) I'm offline traveling on a family vacation from XX - YY will get back to you on ZZ.

  3. Embed checkout on my own webpage

    Instead of having to leave my webpage to check out, allow us to embed the checkout form on our own webpage so it's a seamless experience.

  4. Ability to embed my trainer's profiles all on my own website

    Right now, my trainers fill out their profiles on their Trainerize account. It would be great to be able to just embed this onto my own website so I don't have to create my own website pages for them.

  6. self book recurring appointments

    The ability for clients to self-book recurring appointments. If they attend the same appointment every week, be able to book that appointment as recurring. Right now the trainer has to schedule recurring appointments.

  7. Custom welcome and consultation form based on certain client types

    Ability to create custom invitation emails and consultation forms based on clients selected product, client tags, or workout program.

    Example: Someone selects a nutrition only program they would receive a nutrition specific welcome and consultation form focused on nutrition. Someone selects a training and nutrition program they would have a specific welcome and consultation form that pertains to both fitness and nutrition. Or if someone signs up for a 6 month program with monthly payments, would be great to send an agreement that covers those 6 months commitment to pay vs someone who pays all up front who would not…

  8. Booking in clients for a bunch of recurring classes in one click

    I have group sessions (ty trainerize for making this a function - love it very much!)

    The group sessions that always run same day and times can be booked as a series on the calendar.
    It is not yet possible to add a client to the whole series. You have to go into each day for the sessions they will attend for the length of time of the program.

  9. Option to add a buffer or break before and after appointments

    I would like there to be an option to set a buffer time before/after in-person training appointments to allow for sanitizing equipment or travel. I was using 10 to 8 scheduling software and it was a nice feature.

  11. Add strength training to activities list

    Would love for a client to be able to choose an “open” strength training activity/workout just like the rest of the activity list. Not necessarily to track the exact exercise but to at least mark that a strength training workout was done and how long they were active for. Would be really helpful for clients who aren’t normally doing specific strength workouts but throw some in occasionally. Way easier on the coach too so that we don’t have to add random strength training workouts to the clients plan so that they can be tracked. The only activity currently with any…

  13. Allow clients to pause workouts and come back without having to click "save"

    Many of my clients have brought to my attention they would like to be able to pause their workouts. In cases where they need to break up their workout they aren't able to pause a workout half way, just save and finish the workout.

  16. Have Video Calls mark members attended

    There is no good visibility into class roster while on video call of who actually attended . Would like the members to be automatically marked as attended once joining the video call.

  17. Start/View Video Calls from class event types

    Currently I can only start/view digital session if the event type is an appointment. I cannot start/view digital session from employee app if event type is a class. Instructors must be on web app on laptop/pc/or browser on their tablet to start/view the class. Please extend app to allow the start/view from class event types.

  18. Add Time Stamp & Time Duration to Video Calls

    I have trainers whom I monitor on my account. Besides scheduling a Virtual PT session, there's no way to know if the trainer actually trained his/her client. How do I know if a trainer did a 60 minute PT session or just signed on for 5 minutes and then left? There's no time stamp or time duration.

    When you program/schedule workouts for a client, there is a time stamp the moment they press 'Start Workout' & 'End Workout'. There should be one for Video Calls as well so Master Coaches can see whether or not their trainers are actually conducting…

  19. Show how many session packs a client purchases in confirmation email to trainer

    Currently, the confirmation email we receive only shows that generic purchase of sessions was made. It does not inform me if they purchased 1, 5, or 15 sessions.

    It becomes a time wasting process to go into the purchases, then transaction tab and divide the total purchase amount to figure out the sessions the client now has in order to schedule it appropriately on my appointment calendar.

    An auto renewal message after their total sessions are used would also save the trainer tons of time!
