We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Undo delete button, estimated calculated workout length

    An undo button for when I accidentally delete workouts!
    Somehow something that calculates how long the workout would be as we create it (not sure if this is possible with YouTube workout clips that aren’t from the trainerize library

  4. Write not just numbers in the weight section and also have a body chart in the notes to identify injuries

    The idea is when writing not just numbers in the weight section and create a body chart when we can take notes of any injury and pin point the correct place.

  5. Enter in descriptions for particular sets or circuits

    Yes, I know there is a note textbox. But I would like the option to enter in short descriptions of each set, circuit, etc.
    For example, If I am building an AMRAP circuit at the end of a workout, I'd like for it to say "complete as many rounds as you can in 12 minutes" above the circuit and not just in the comment text box.

  8. Disable and edit the workout reminder emails

    PLEASE let us disable or at least edit these emails. I do not like how they are worded at all. "gentle reminder" does not sound like me(or any trainer for that matter) and it telling clients to "check in" causes confusion on workouts that my clients track. It makes it sound like you "check in" for all workouts, which you do not.

  9. Have a “randomize” order and rabdomize from a selection when building a workout.

    When building a workout I’d like for there to be a “rabdomize” block just as the rest block works. Whithin this randomizes block the trainer can build which movements ya the randomizes will pick from.

    Also a ltandomize order” option by selecting multiple boxes like when you make a multiple selection to build a superset. These “random order” selections will be put together in a box of their own, again, like the superset option.

  10. Would you be able to include the concept 2 ski erg as well as the assualt bike.

    similar to the running, walking, jogging, and rowing options you would include the assault bike as well as the ski erg.

  11. Remember the exercise volume from an exercise not from the last time you did it, but from the last time you did it on that workout.

    Currently if I have a programme that has the same exercise on a few different days the app shows the volume lifted last time I completed that exercise..However if I’m doing a daily undulating periodisation I could have the same exercise twice in a week, once heavy and once light. Currently it shows my previous volume from the last time I did the exercise but not in the context of the volume in the same workout.

  12. Nutrition only start date and program length

    For those clients who have their workouts and only want macro / nutrition coaching- I don’t see a start date or program length option and they are always showing Noncompliant ( no Training plan) perhaps they could enter their own I this case ex CrossFit 4 days a week attended/ cals burned

  13. Have a Complete Programming View

    When I'm programming I like to be able to see everything I've programmed for the client over the last couple of months to get a big picture of what progressions I'm following etc. Right now I'm basically listing the exercises outside of Trainerize so I have a quick-glance option when I'm writing their next program, which seems a bit silly.

  15. Allow for multiple filters when searching through workouts

    Currently you can only select 1 filter option.

    When i go into my workout library it would be good to select multiple tags to filter to refine search.

  16. Add a date in addition to a time stamp in chat log

    Chat logs show time of last chat but never a date. Would be helpful to see when specific messages were sent according to date and not just time.

  17. Do undulating periodization programs without having to schedule days in the calendar

    At the moment you can only DUP programs if you schedule the days in the calendar. Would be good to just be able to them with the calendar

  18. Link with the app 'Strong' for better and easier logging

    Strong is the best app I have ever used for logging my training. It's simple and minimalistic.

    If my clients could log on that app and integrate it into Trainerize, you would have a complete package.

  19. Single page dashboard of all client statuses

    I really need to see the specific status of all clients from one dashboard - as in, attendance status and any in-workout comments on ONE page, instead of opening up each and every client to see their calendars and workouts for updates. I have about 25 clients that need to be attended to and it’s too much time to open each one. Thank you!!

  20. Add a search bar to allow finding a workout quickly to add to clients calendar

    It would be great if there was a search bar added to make the process of adding a workout to a client's calendar faster. At the moment we have to scroll through all the workouts created to find the one we want to add.
