Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Order exercise in programs with more than name and last modified

    When building programs, you cannot organize them in the order you want.

  2. Allow the trainer to be able to view the clients training program even if the client is deactivated. The program should NOT be removed.

    It is very frustrating that once a client is set to "deactivated" that we cannot view the training program that was created. Once the client has been set to deactivated all training programs all are removed as well. Why? It still takes time to set up a custom program and it would be nice to see "where the client left off".

  3. The Basic Client Feature

    For the basic client feature, I think we should still be able to assign programs to them so we, the trainer, can track their workouts/programs, progress, habits, and eating habits. Otherwise, this feature will be kind of pointless. It would also be great for them to be able to track workouts themselves in the event their trainer is out of town but still needs a workout to follow.

  4. Allow clients to see descriptions for on-demand programs

    When new clients have access to on-demand programs it would be nice if they could see the description and any pointers rather than only instructions on the individual workouts

  5. There is currently no options for snacks on the food planner. You should also be able to enter your own meal plans with pictures.

    There is currently no options for snacks on the food planner, if there is no snacks, why is there an option? You should also be able to enter your own meal plans with pictures. This should be a community of sharing and if you wish, there should be an option to enter your meal into a wider field where other trainers could utilise your creations.

  7. Receive notification when clients miss their daily nutrition goal

    Ability to receive notification when clients miss their daily nutrition goal. There is an entry for missed workouts on the overview or client's dash, but there's no entry for missed daily nutrition goal or notification.

  8. Food search within tab, not global search

    When tracking the meal, and when searching for ingredients, the search results are global. I would like to be able to search within "recent" tab or "custom" food tab.

  9. Add a workout quick edit feature where we can add/remove sets/exercises from future workouts without having to unschedule, edit, reschedule

    Currently, if we want to add or reduce sets in workouts based on client feedback we have to:
    Open the training programme
    Unschedule the future workouts
    Make the changes to the progression spreadsheet (and struggle to remember what the original progressions were)
    Then reschedule.
    Trainerize would be far superior to its competitors if it had a feature allowing trainers to easily scroll forwards to scheduled workouts and make quick edits like adding/removing sets, changing exercises etc

  10. Cross team member appt scheduling for clients

    I have a team of 3; 2 trainers & 1 nutritionist. I think it would be beneficial to have the ability for clients to have the option to schedule appts with multiple trainers/team members. This could be an option that could be turned on depending on the appt type.

    This would be beneficial to my team as we service our clients with different roles

  15. Live music sharing during a video call from my device

    Hello there,

    it'll be helpfull for me as coach to share my music and play same time to both me and the client. its important for dance classes, zumba etc... to hear the same.

  16. Change the regular workout functionality to have auto rest timers

    The regular workout setup requires the user to start and stop the rest timer. If we can emulate the Strong app and how it allows for the user to fill in the weight and reps and then auto-populate and do an auto rest timer it would be easier to use in the app and more visually clean whereas now the rest timer is in between each set.

  17. See past progressions of workouts that have been completed in the progression spreadsheet

    When adding more of the same workouts within the month the previously completed workouts do not show in the progression spreadsheet. It would be convenient to see what progressions have been made to further progress or regress the current training program.

  18. Include 25% Protein, 50% Carb, 25% Fat

    Important for performance focused clients who have high energy demands related to their training (endurance athletes, soccer players, etc).

    The current protein recommendations are way over 1g/lb or 2.2g/kg of protein if the client has a high TDEE

  19. allow options for recording resistance other than lbs.

    Allow options in recording exercise resistance other than just lbs. How about exercise band color, time, or inches (for example squats to a box, you could track progress by going lower and lower)

  20. View Personal Best Data At Anytime!!!

    Hey,

    after you you complete a workout and you get a new PR i love that it shows all the percentages, and volume etc. It would be amazing to go back to view that same PR graphic/animation. sometimes my clients close the app too fast and they don't get to view, this actually causes some emotional damage because they worked so hard to get a PR and they're not able to go back and see it...

    also say you hit like 10 Pr's when you try to share it or save the imagine it cuts off, there should be a…
