Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. CrossFit Style AMRAP workout - Ability to put AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) as a value when adding number of sets.

    Currently when putting in a value for the number of sets for the exercise it is not possible to put anything other than a number.
    It would be great to have the ability to put in AMRAP if the exercise is to be completed for As Many Rounds As Possible in a set amount of time.

    For Example:

    AMRAP in 5 minutes
    Box Jumps AMRAP x 10 Reps
    Pushups AMRAP x 10 Reps

  3. Show weekly/monthly calories / macro averages in nutrition graph

    I would love to be able to adjust the nutrition graph overview by date range and view overall averages of each metric (macros/calories). This would be super helpful to have a clearer picture of whether our clients are tracking and hitting their goals effectively through each week.

    For example, if I want to see a client's nutrition data for 1 week, I should be able to set date ranges (i.e. 5/10/2020 - 5/16/2020) and see their daily numbers but also see the averages as well.

  4. Menstrual period tracking in app and shade the weight loss graph a different colour for coaches

    When females have their menstrual cycle, it would be great to be able to see it on the chart with their weight loss, in a different colour

    Ability to send check in forms/survey/questionaire each week so clients can fill them out with various fields like tracking energy, mood etc.

  7. allow client to add notes for each excercise

    Now, it's possible for clients to make notes for the whole workout, but not for each excercise. Would be great to do that (Example: "Reduced weight bench press due to DOMS" --> barbell bench press. "New record, yes!" --> Barbell Squat)

  9. Have different daily macro goals for different days or workout / non-workout days for carb cycling

    I do a lot of competition prep and within prepping meal plans. It would be great to set up different macro and calorie intake goals for different days out of the week. Because it would allow my clients to fully understand carb cycling. For now I have uploaded a pdf version of the meal plan showing that but would be great if that can be adjusted as well when it comes to programming it within your platform.

  10. Weekly average weight

    We need to have a seperate daily & weekly average weight metric tracker, not attached to measurements.

    At present if we ask clients to take a daily weight it will also ask them to take daily measurements.

    We need to be able to take daily weight, then ask for weekly average weight & certain measurements of choice (decided by coach & client)

  12. Show macro breakdown per meal (not just calories)

    Make macro breakdown per meal vs just total added? For example - here there's are 2 meals added. Overview page lists calories, but once you have more than one meal, you can't see what made up the macros, or where they came from. If a client (or myself) wanted to see where the carbs were coming from (whether it be as an education tool or just to see what was carb dense), we can't tell what foods made up the total carb count and how much.   16. Ability to log/track and search for 1RM, 3RM, 5RM, 10 rep max history for each client easily

    Currently in the trainerize apk there is a history list and a running bar showing 3 rm, 5rm, max weight ever and max volume. As so, the trainee is unable to quickly check the PRs for the rep range that his/her coach prescribed for the given day.
    Solution:Clicking the exercise leads to a history list with date, reps and weight, swiping left leads to a list of all rep ranges (1-15) and the records for these rep ranges.

  19. Faster way to view client food logs like a weekly meals view

    Trying to view each nutrition log takes forever. Right now you have to open up a persons profile individually, then click calendar, and then you can see.

    It would help if there was a way to either have the system automatically send a quick link or snap shot daily in the private message or when you click on private message they should put a Botton at the top where the archive is that allows you to view the food log quickly then go back.

  20. Ability for Trainers to program "Recommended Substitutes" in the Workout Editor to allow for Equipment Availability/Progressions

    With the world going in and out of lockdowns, equipment availability is ever-changing. Additionally, delivering Group Training Programs, different members may have differing Equipment Availability, Personal Preferences & Levels Of Skill

    The ability to program a primary exercise, with additional options that a trainer can program/recommend as an appropriate variation/substitute... this would work wonders in creating a highly adaptable program for the member's experience
