This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Integration With Menstrual Health Trackers

    Intergration syncing with menstrual phase trackers like FloApp. I have many female clients who feel overwhelmed by their shifts in energy and cravings based on the monthly shifts in their hormonal balance, so being able to structure workout intensity and nutrition habits based on real time interfacing with their cycle would be a winning feature

  2. Include Exercise Formats

    Currently Trainerize only offers supersets and circuits as available formats. Include more exercise formats such as AMRAP, Tabata and EMOM.

    These formats can also be optimised by offering sectional formatting blocks where coaches can add titles, parameters and descriptions.

  3. Multiple Payment Processors

    Stripe is great, but it is agrediously limited to a few territories which makes it difficult for trainers based outside of those locations to use on platform billing and payment processing. PayPal, Paystack (subsidiary of Stripe), Square are good examples of commonly used and globally available systems

  4. Ability to create modular meals using individual foods

    Instead of just having full recipes, allow both coach and client to create modular meals using singel foods/ingredients. For example: chicken ******, rice, broccoli

  5. Creat your own meal plan!?!?

    When paying for the advanced nutrition feature, or even without it, you should have the ability to create your own meal plan so that it is fully customisable to the client! Number of meals, meal names, visibility over macro/micro breakdown as you build it out, and the ability to drag and drop both your own and the trainerize recipes into the plan. You should also be able to just add foods to the plan for example a yoghurt and banana as a snack - rather than having to make that a meal then add it. This need to be actioned…

  6. Meal planner upgrades - this feature costs a lot and is barely functional

    The meal planner feature is quite rigid, I would love the ability to be able to:
    1. Designated as few or as many meals/snacks as I like regardless of calories
    2. Add multiple "foods" to create a "meal" - for example if I want my client to have a banana and protein shake post workout, I would like to just be able to add those two items to their "post workout meal"
    3. The ability to customise meal names
    4. The ability to create a master meal plan and save it so that it can be assigned to multiple clients…

  7. Add PDFs/custom links in the more section for clients

    Add PDFs/custom links in the more section for clients for smaller trainers too not just for Studio & Enterprise accounts with Custom Branded Apps.

    Ability to add links to link out to pages to buy supplements, equipment, clothing etc.
    Have a space to upload recipe guides, starting guides etc.

    This will be for everyone.

    This is a very useful feature that can streamline the onboarding process and help smaller trainers grow faster and gain more clients.

  9. Mark-up a check in photo.

    Can you add the ability to mark up a check in photo? That way I can circle or draw arrows and lines on them. This is an easy way to show them what I want them to change using an edited photo.

  10. Easier movement swaps without ruining progressions

    It would make my life so much simpler if we were able to swap movements within a training phase without having to redo all the progressions. Each time a client requests a movement swap, I have to change the movement, reprogram all the days for that workout and then redo all the progressions. If there was a way to just swap in or add in a new movement without ruining all the progressions, that would make things SO much more efficient.

  13. Animated

    Have a library of exercises with animated videos. This would eliminate the need for trainers to have spend hours uploading themselves doing exercises; as well as not having to use the existing pre-made exercise videos, which could affect individual trainers/studios branding.

  16. Be able to select a 4 meal plan split for meal plans under 1600.

  18. Add 1 - 3 meals with 100 - 1400 Calories

    Please could you make meal planning fully customizable. Clients now have things like Gousto meals which means I want to be able to tailor lower calories to compensate for the pre-prepared meals.

    Ability to add snacks and pre/post gym meals would also be a game changer.

  19. Exercise note included in history

    Show exercise note alongside history. Underneath the exed use name you have the ability to write down rep range, tempo, ROM etc. When you view the history of an exercise it would be helpful to show the notes for that exercises. For example, take a regular lat pulldown done for 10 reps at 100 lbs on one day. Then on the next session you decided to add an eccentric tempo for 10 reps at 90 lbs.     As a business owner managing over 50 clients across 3 businesses, I am constantly juggling between my personal calendar, a paper backup, and the Trainerize app just to keep track of sessions—past, present, and scheduled.
