This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Nutrition details from progress

    I would like to navigate to detailed tracking from the nutrition progress tab. Right now, I have to look at the nutrition progress note for the day that was not compliant and then navigates to details through the client's calendar. I wish I could click on the nutrition progress overview.

  2. Add own customised metrics on clients dashboard

    Working as a health professional some of the metrics we would like to track are not in the set/standard list in 'Configure dashboard widgets' section.
    It would be useful to have the ability to 'add' ones own metrics so that we can enter and track them over time eg Max Squat, Metabolic Age etc
    If not adding new metrics, simply having the ability to change the name of the current ones.

  3. Provide a scanner option so clients can scan a food item to get nutrition information

    Similar to most nutrition tracking apps. Your in app good tracker should have a scanner option so that people can simply scan the bar code on a package to import all nutrition information.

  4. Allow a client to leave a rating of perceived exertion (or comment space) for an individual set

    It would be very helpful to be able to leave a rating of perceived exertion (1-10) for each set for the coach and client to look back upon. This data will be very useful. It can be as simple as adding a box next to the reps and weight boxes which can be enabled in settings. Hope you guys consider this as it is an important component of tracking and periodisation!

  5. Ability to add weight/load or intensity (%, RIR, etc.) when programming resistance training

    In the workout builder, adding an additional section for the intensity (weight/load, %RM, RIR, etc.) that is separate from the notes section would be helpful in programming. With the current configuration, the reps, intensity/load, notes, tempos, etc. are all in one "box" rather than those being separate. This would clean things up in the program design process, improve "readability" from clients/users, and could open up other options regarding tracking progress over time with exercises

  9. Quick exercise substitution

    The workout builder includes an exercise substitution tab. Similar to what is in the workout. This would help with program templates. Instead of having to delete each exercise and add new exercises. You would substitute each exercise within the program. This would be beneficial for progressing a current workout into a new workout.

  11. Allow group classes to have as many clients as we would like.

    We have over 200 clients. It would be great to be able to use trainerize's calendar to put in our client's schedule. Right now we use a different platform for this since you guys are limiting to 49 people in the virtual classes. Thank you

  13. Expand to be able to track sugar, vitamins and fiber

    In the current progress tracking of nutrients you can view a client's averages with calories, individual macros, and overall macros.

    If you want to view a clients specific nutrients (like fiber, sugar, vitamins, minerals, etc) you can only see a daily view.

    Idea: integrate these other nutrients in the progress graph to get averages like calories and macros.

  15. Be able to add circuits/Finishers that I have pre made to the end of certain workouts without having to do from scratch each time

    I want to add some pre made circuits to the end of workouts, so having a function that you can add a circuit or finisher to a specific workout would be great. Currently I have to make them all from scratch every single time which is time consuming.

  16. Auto-save all workouts so they can still be accessed after deactivating a client

    It's kinda annoying having to reactivate a client just to look at the workouts I made for them while they were active. Can you create an auto save folder for any workouts that are created?

  18. Clients can add their own training

    My business is 100% nutrition only, so I don't program any of my client's training or workouts.

    I would like to be able to see what their training is for the week in more detail than just the calories burnt that comes through MFP.

    I'd love a section where they can even just type some notes about their training for the day.

  19. The ability to have body weight in stones, lbs and still have weight for workout lifts in Kgs. Having to convert all the time wastes time.

    When we change the UNITS it changes both in body weight measurements and on the exercises. Here in the UK (MOST women especially) measure body weight in stones and lbs but at the gym all the weights are in kgs. Having the ability to have choose units for the separate areas of the app would be super time saving
