Add Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
As a measure of training and lifestyle stress, HRV is a great tool. Such info would allow us to suggest deloads or stress management techniques or at least to investigate possible stresses. There are smartphone apps that measure this so maybe another one to integrate with one of these external apps? HRV4Training is an example of one of these apps.

Allow supersets to be created with different set scheme
Super sets should be able to be created, but with the ability to change the number of sets for each exercise.
For example:
Deadlift
Bench Press
PlankIf you want 4 sets of the deadlift, 3 sets of bench press, and 3 sets of plank you should be able to program that in while still working in a tri set.

Connect to LiveStrong's MyPlate?
It would be awesome if we could connect to LiveStrong's MyPlate or other nutritional tracking information. I received feedback from one of my clients today that smudged an otherwise excellent review.
"The Trainerize app she uses was helpful, with example videos of the exercises and a timer function right there. It also sent daily reminders of what I needed to complete that day. However I did find the MyFitnessPal app used for tracking food a bit clunky-- I have used LiveStrong's MyPlate app in the past and prefer that one for what seems to be more accurate nutritional info, and…

Allow trainers to indicate what muscle group a weightlifting activity is targeting.
This allows the client to find an alternative if necessary.

Offer an option for Alternate Sets not just Supersets
Supersets is misleading to clients. There needs to be an option for Alternate Sets to save writing "This is not a superset" in the notes several times per program. If anything Supersets are used less than Alternates.

Add non-training events to the calendar
Many of our clients are training for something specific... be it a sports meet or event, a competition, or a trip to the beach. It would be nice to be able to add those events to the calendar, even if it's just a titled item with no real content.
Right now I build a workout for their events, so that I can see those things on their calendar when I'm building their plan, but that clutters up their training plan.

Add options to record Bio-metric Measurements along with the current body stats. Total Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Glucose, BMI, Waist Circumference. This would be great for tracking chronic disease risk factors. Would be great for corporate wellness programs.

Develop a more general strength programming template
Currently the program writing template is too restrictive. A simple (hopefully!?) solution would be to have more fields. For example I write programs similar to Ian King/Charles Poliquin. Many PTs do to:
A1 Back squat, 3 sets, 8-10 reps, 4011 tempo, 60 sec rest
A2 Lying leg curl 3 sets, 6-8 reps, 4110 tempo, 60 sec restA1 and A2 are not super sets in this case, they are simply paired. Calling two or more sets paired or grouped together a super set is too restrictive.
Simplify this bit and I'm sold.. until then, thanks for the look.

add scaling to workout templates
I like how I can create a workout template and use it for several clients, but once I add that workout to their calendar, I can't swap individual exercises for substitution exercises or add scaling options for clients with bad knees, shoulders, etc...
For this, the only option I see is to add a whole new template just for one client rather than have them follow a similar routine where I can delete and exchange "weighted dips" for "machine assisted dips", for example, while they recover from a work-related injury.
If I get to the point where I have 50-60…

I use Plan to Eat for meal planning with my clients. It would be great to be able to integrate that here for them to track those meals.

Display Calories Out from the FitBit App
I use My Fitness Pal and FitBit with all of my clients and love how the apps all now connect together. It would be great if the Trainerize App took the calories out over from the FitBit app as well as the resting HR per day, as this would allow me to monitor calories in (MFP) and calories out (FitBit) so I can monitor their deficit for weight loss.

CrossFit Style AMRAP workout - Ability to put AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) as a value when adding number of sets.
Currently when putting in a value for the number of sets for the exercise it is not possible to put anything other than a number.
It would be great to have the ability to put in AMRAP if the exercise is to be completed for As Many Rounds As Possible in a set amount of time. For Example:
AMRAP in 5 minutes
Box Jumps AMRAP x 10 Reps
Pushups AMRAP x 10 Reps1,013 votes -
Edit Progression
It would be extremely helpful for the [edit progression] feature to allow us the ability to edit tracked workouts with ACTUAL numbers rather than the templated TARGET numbers.
