Instead of having to choose one or the other, using two for when you like the meal plans but want to track your own snacks during the day in myfitnesspal and want to view everything in total in the trainerize app.

Allow trainers to enter their own meals into the smart meal planner
Unable to roll out to mass client base until;
- Have the ability to enter own meals into the planner
- Needs to stop giving meat substitutes to meat eaters, because realistically they won't eat tofu if they don't have to.
- Would be better if it can be populated with enough meals to allow for a 7 day eating plan to be generated.
Would love to roll this feature out but won't be able to do it until have more control over the meals in the meal planner as in being able to add meals or delete meals.

Different sections for Meals and Recipes
Currently the Nutrition Master Library consists of 2 sections:
- Meals
- FoodsI would suggest you add a different section called Recipes where we can only add recipes that we then use for different Meals (just like how Workouts can be used for different programs)
The Meals section now functions both like a place to add Meal Examples and Recipe examples, however it would be nice if we could separate the 2 and then give the clients the option to either search for Meal Examples or for Recipe Examples.
The idea is already applied to other food trackers and…

Selection of Culture/Ethnic Groups in Meal Choices/Recipes in Meal Planner
Clients need to be able to access cultural foods so they can be successful with their goals. Having recipes from many large cultural groups will ensure all clients can find foods they actually eat.
Here are some much needed categories: American, Chinese, French, Greek, Indian, Greek, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Mexican, Lebanese, Middle Eastern, Moroccan, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese, Jewish, Filipino, Caribbean (Haitian, Jamaican, Bahamian, Southern USA, Asian, Mediterranean, Indigenous, Nigerian, Northern African, Southern African, Eastern African, Western African, Central African, Pacific Islander, Australian, Alaskan.
When all clients can be represented, trainers with diverse clients can choose foods that…

Tighter caloric ranges for auto-generated meal plan
The current range of meal planner is about +-100 calories.
But imagine if someone follows the plan for the whole week, then you’d have +-100 kcal/day * 7 = 700 kcal / week (or +300 kcal for these three days). It’s a lot and May have a huge impact on a physique, if we have a strict physique goal.
Have a tighter caloric range or at least try to hit a weekly average closer to the nutrition goal.

Snack are too small compared to the meals
The snacks are too low of calories compared to meals. If someone is trying to have a surplus of 250 calories a day(say 3000 calories total), and we prescribe 5 or 6 meals, the meals are insanely large and the snack are tiny. Nobody wants to eat like this.

Allow for Trainers to import meals/foods from a database. Allowing for custom meal plans.
Add a database to the site where coaches can pick and set different foods per meal, allowing for more control over what your clients eat. For example I coach multiple body builders, including supplementation and timed meals in relation to their workouts would make it easier to help bodybuilding clients reach better results.

Meals for more than three days and easier meals?
I saw this has been raised. This is very important. My clients are busy full time workers and just want to meal prep once for the whole week.
Also, When I set their meals up it give them lovely options and it is a great tool but people don't have time or money to buy all these ingredients for the week. Are they able to chose their own meals?

Bulk batch cooking or doubling recipe for people who meal prep or want to share meals with family.
It would be nice if recipes portions could be multiplied for bulk batch cooking (meal prep) or if more than one person is catered for or You want to eat leftovers for lunch & save time cooking.

Meal Planner needs to be more allow more creativity (and instead of or)
It sounds like you need a more flexible meal planner that allows for greater creativity and customization. Assigning meals by days or weeks is a great start, but it would be even better to have a hybrid system that takes into account not only the days and weeks, but also times and phases. Additionally, having the ability to adjust caloric intake percentage and having the meals populate based on these inputs would be a huge asset. With these features, you'll be able to schedule your clients with eating plans that vary 2-3 days based on their workout and calorie intake,…

Ability to Schedule a 7 days worth of meals, a week makes more sense than 3 days
Its frustrating to my clients that they can only see 3 days worth of meals, much harder to plan for the week if less than half the week is available to see

Having the option to use metric measurements and adjusting the meal plan to their customised macro goals!
1) My clients track their macros/calories by weighing their foods to the gram. Cup or spoon measurement are highly inaccurate.
2) I want to be able to adjust my clients meal plan to their individual macro split. Currently, this is not possible unfortunately.

Incorporate intermittent fasting into Smart Meal Plan
Right now, three meals per day is the minimum for the Smart Meal Plan feature. Some clients undergo intermittent fasting where they have their total amount of calories for the day divided into two meals. It would be helpful to accommodate those clients and allow them to have a smart meal plan by having the minimum amount of meals shifted to two and to incorporate higher caloric meals into the mix.

More quick recipes that require little prep and cook time
Most of the recipes require a lot of prep and cook time, clients would benefit from more quick meal options.
