This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. More exercise variation

    There are certain exercises, for example, vertical rope pulls. Most of the time, the exercise are added into the data via YouTube videos. It would nice, if the app has exercise variation in the library.

  2. Add scheduled time off to calendar

    Show trainer time off in the calendar. At the moment it just shows as empty days which can make scheduling tricky. It would be handy if the scheduled time off showed within the main calendar schedule.

  3. Switching through different accounts (as a coach and a client)

    Allowing us to switch from our app as a coach to being a client to someone else (a lot of trainers these days use Trainerize) without having to log out and in every time.

    Have different tabs can make it easy for new clients entering the group. Tabs like Q&A, General Tabs, Updates would be useful

  6. Ability to post Educational 10min-1hr videos (Skool.com is a rising competitor)

    We have to be able to post longer videos so that we can teach lessons to our clients

  7. Increase max event types per product

    This would enable us to sell 1 product with multiple types of appointments types attached. Right now the max is only 2. Considering a lot of us use this app for 1 on 1 coaching, group coaching , virtual coaching and in person/virtual check in appointments it would be nice to be able to bundle all that together in 1 product aka 1 purchase/subscription for the client.

    Monthly Program Example:
    1 on 1 Coaching Sessions: 4 per month
    Group Workouts: 8 per month
    Virtual Check ins: 2 per month
    In person Body Composition: 1 per month

  8. Expand your Calorie Ranges significantly. All of my male bodybuilders eat more than 4000 calories per day!

    Allow for whatever macros a trainer needs and allow them to enter basic meals (like chicken and rice, ground beef and rice, chicken and pasta, etc) like MANY professional athletes eat instead of ONLY these overwhelming, complex meal ideas

  11. Ability to fully customise daily nutrition/macros to be able to integrate carb cycles, refeed days etc.

    Right now you can only set up a very basic, linear calorie and macro goal, it would be good if you could customise this further to daily variaitons.

  13. On the main dashboard show total weight, inches and body fat lost to date.

  14. Adding a dropset, cluster set, pnf, 1/2 rep, reps in reserve option to exercises.

  15. Schedule PDF upload for Meal Plan

    Be able to schedule in advance a meal plan to upload on a certain date. So a current meal plan can remain in place, work can be done on an updated meal plan and schedule it to replace the old meal plan on a certain date. This would be useful when managing large workload, and also when coach is taking leave so work can be done in advance and clients meal plans can still run and update as normal as does the programming

  17. Please create a way for 2 clients to be able to share a single package purchase. Husbands and wives, partners, friends.

    2 members sharing a single payment/membership. This will enable one payer to purchase for themselves and a partner/spouse. Both family members work off the same package of sessions.

  18. we need to create recipes and automatically generate macros for foods added

    This is the biggest complaint of all my client's. My client's are always using My Fitness Pal or other apps to do this then add the food to app. I don't really like my client's using mfp, I'd love for them to only have to use my app. With the cost of the branding, I feel like this is something that should be available already.

  20. Log Daily Macros Button VS MyFitnessPal if Cronometer/LoseIt/Apple Health isn't available

    As much as I would prefer integrations with Cronometer, Lose It or even Apple Health syncing calories/macros/micros. I understand that it's not always something that can happen (or at least quickly).

    A "log daily macros" would be better than nothing. This way the client can just input total calories, carbs, protein, fats for the day (bonus vote for fiber and water).

    The work around right now is a custom meal each day but it's too clunky.

    I'm new to Trainerize and this is a big hang up for me as I recommend Cronometer to clients.
