Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Enhancements to Meal Planning

    1. Meal Flexibility for 1400kcal Plan: Currently, the 1400kcal plan is limited to 3 meals. Allowing for 4 meals at this level would be ideal since most of my female clients eat around these calories and 3 meals are not enough..
    2. Nutrition Master Plans: Creating pre-set nutrition templates for common calorie targets (1400, 2000, 2500, 3000kcal) would streamline the planning process for coaches and allow for quicker client onboarding.
    3. Daily Macros/Calories Display: A real-time display of macros and calories for each day within the meal planner would provide valuable insights and allow for easier adjustments.

  3. Have Multiple meal plans on one meal plan e.g 20% deficit and maintenance and 110% TDEE

    The current meal plan doesn't allow flexibility in diets and costs coaches more time in admin hours when they could be doing marketing or getting new leads. It is also frustrating because you can't focus on specific diets like front carb loading and isocaloric e.t.c. It would make more sense to have one menu where you can add multiple meal plans that are saved and don't have to be regenerated so the client can have their deficit meal plan of 80% TDEE and maintenance for diet breaks and then 110% TDEE for building phases.   6. Too many variations in the ingredients each week, simplify it.

    The amount of ingredients you need to buy each week for the meals is way too much. It makes it very hard for people to prep their meals and shop for them. While having some variations is good, too many makes it too hard to shop for, budget for, and prepare for.

    This then leads to people just giving up.

    Keep meals similar to a point.

  8. Add a more detailed food exemption section.

    When using the AI meal planner, there are only a few options to choose from in the food exemptions section. If there were a way to add an advanced option section with just a few more options, such as chicken or red meat, for example, it would be beneficial.

  10. Can you please allow for repeat recipes per day? It's too hard to ask people to create new recipes every time they eat.

    It's too hard to ask someone to make a new recipe for every meal. It needs to have options where we can repeat meals. For example - if something makes 5 servings, then they should make all 5 servings and eat throughout the week. Or if Dinner makes 2 servings, make the lunch the next day be the dinner. MAKE IT EASY

    Some recipes on the app have incomplete instructions or too many ingredients.

    Either we need to be able to change them or there needs to be a simple way to inform someone of an error.

  13. Meal Plan Builder From Scratch

    I find myself using chat GPT to build a lot of my PDF meal plans because the recipes in the app are just too time consuming. I've used other training apps that allow me to build a meal plan by adding ingredients manually. Would love a feature like that AND allow them to track the customized meal into their tracker. Loving the in app tracking btw! Just wish it had more options.

  14. make ways to edit or add notes to meals specifically in a clients meal plan (for instance substitutes etc)

    It would really be helpful to be able to add notes to recipes for specific clients (ie. substitutes etc). Most of the recipes are fantastic and I like the custom add feature but if we could add a note to a premade recipe for specific clients it would be really amazing!

  15. Macro split needs to be customisable across the week and variable + need to be able to combine smart meals with customisable meals!!!!

    I have used 3 apps across my time as a coach over 6 years. I am interested in staying with Trainerize but I am disappointed that some of the features have not been updated. When you watch the intro video about the Advanced Nutrition, you believe you will get an incredible list of Meals to ADD to your customisable nutrition options for your clients. Instead you are limited to either a smart plan or your own nutrition which is simply NOT good enough.
    Like many coaches, I am set to help my clients with nutrition suitable to their needs.

  16. Just add specific foods

    It would be great if we could just keep it simple and add the food. For example. 1/2 cup of oats. Or 5oz grilled chicken. Seems like everything come with a recipe/full meal.

  18. Allow trainers to create personalised macro and calorie breakdowns.

    Seems a bit silly we can't create personalised meal plans. Majority of clients I work with are on high protein diets but when you set it on the app, it drops fats crazy low. Considering carbs are non essential but fats play an important role in health function, it should probably be the other way round or we should be able to tweak the macros and calories ourselves.

  19. Creating my own data base of recipes and using those exclusively

    It would be great if there was a way that I could create my own data base of recipes since my clients are whole food plant-based and for it to be selectable when I ask the platform to create a meal plan. So instead of choosing vegan I can select my own data base and it would pull recipes from there

  20. The ability to add menus to the existing plans without having to start from scratch
