Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. More bodyweight/calisthenics exercises. Particularly isometrics

    Planches, levers, l sits holds etc.

    The whole bases of bodyweight exercises is that they use progressions to create load.
    Knee pushup
    Regular pushup
    Elevated pushup
    Handstand pushup
    Etc.

    Maybe a option for people to share their exercise libraries to join the main pack. With approval of course. For the greater good. So you dont have to film every possible exercise. You could have guidelines on what is acceptable and then open it up to the community. I would share mine.

  2. add manual exercise if a client is in a program

    If a client is subscribed to a program, it would be nice if there was a way to possibly add an additional exercise if the client needs a little extra boost. I only see the client can add freestyle workout on their own thus far.

  3. MORE AT HOME WORKOUTS

    We are all stuck inside without a gym, most of our clients only have limited equipment. I have looked through every exercise and you guys do not have some very basic exercises that can be done with a band. Lat Pull down tricep push down, the list goes on. We're going to be stuck in this horrible situation for a while until a vaccine is created. You guys have to adapt to at home exercises. I realize that i can just put notes in for the client but so many need a visual, like a said you must adapt like…

  4. On the calendar, instead of calling a workout " general", put the custom title that the trainer enters.

    I have clients that hike, go to orange theory, ride their peloton, etc. I like to specify that for them on their calendar for the month so they can go into Trainerize and check it off. Instead, the calendar comes up with just an entry for General on every day even though I entered a custom title. I think they'd be more likely to open Trainerize and check off their workouts if the specific title was on the calendar.

  5. Total weight lifted by all clients per week per week challenge

    Sum of all the weights used during the workouts over the course of the week per client then add together for total weights used of all clients per week. This would be cool to post to group of clients to show how much they contributed to the weekly total.

    They have to hit a combined weight together to complete the challenge.

  7. Change time for Automated In-app Messages

    Many of the automated in-app messages are set to send at 9am, which is okay for some, but not for others (such as 1st day of a training plan) when you have clients who may workout much earlier than this.

    Currently not able to use this feature, and have to create individual auto-messages per client or program in order to send the "1st day" message earlier than 9am.

  8. Tracking For All Rep Ranges (1-15)

    Currently, tracking is available only for a 1-3-5-10 rep max. That limits the available data for client monitoring. Allowing for a broader spectrum of rep ranges gives trainers the ability to observe their client's progress in the rep range actually prescribed.

  9. Combine one-time payments with monthly payments in trainerize pay

    Would like to be able to start a product out with a one-time payment then convert into monthly payments.

    For example, I have a year long training product but I want the ability to have a one-time initial payment for the first 3 months of training, then following that payments go monthly.

    The program requires a 3 month commitment at a slightly discounted rate first, so having the ability to pay upfront first would be ideal rather than discounted the first three months.

  10. Customize Day on Desktop

    It would be great if we could customize workouts on specific days week after week like on the mobile app. And, it would be even better if we could schedule progressions with different exercises for a program. For instance, I may keep a client with dumbbell squats for 4 weeks, but I may change out the exercises that I superset it with. I keep "staples" in certain programs and adjust other exercises as I see fit. Super beneficial to have this feature for programming when things constantly change in a clients life.

  11. Color coding the whole look of a client’s profile

    I would like to be able to turn a client’s whole look a different color so I could easily see which clients are in an active challenge vs those who are on maintenance.

  14. Would like to see pregnancy specific exercises

    If possible I'd like to see pregnancy specific exercises ... existing exercise database could be updated to show for example: safe in trimester 1, 2 and/or 3

  16. See a list of groups a client is part of

    See a list of groups a client when you bring up a client's profile dialog, so you don't have to hunt individual groups. You should be able to remove the client from the group too.

  17. Weekly automated tracking of specific exercise RPE AND automated weight selection

    Having a system where you can automate weekly weight selections based on the RPE/effort of the workout.

    How this idea came to me is that previously I use Google Sheets as my main source of delivering training programs. For those who are familiar with Sheets/Excel, you can do things like

    EXAMPLE: If the client is asked performs goblet squat @ 20lbs @ RPE8,
    However, the client did it at RPE6, the google sheet automatically fills in next weeks weight/adds next weeks weight to let's say 30lbs to hit RPE8.

    Now I know we can o this MANUALLY on the program…

  19. Ability to see map of GPS run for apple watch

    Right now when I do an Apple workout run, it gives me a map of my run. However, I don't see this in the Trainerize run.

  20. Manually enter how long a workout takes

    Make it possible to manually enter the time it takes to complete a circuit workout? Currently, it does it automatically but we are hoping to create a group fitness test which would mean clients would not be close to their phone to start and finish at the exact time.
