Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to have a subscription start and end on a specific date

    When someone signs up for a subscription plan, rather than having it start immediately or on a specific date for all people, have it start when that person's current plan ends. Or allow me to set the start date for each client as they sign up. I currently use my website to pull in new clients but I'd like to sign them up with subscriptions after they have trained with me for a month. When they start their plan will be different from when they pay and I would like more control over that.

  2. Show Body Stats In Table Form As Well As Graph

    When checking body stats weekly it would be great if they could be viewed in a table format also and provide weekly averages for weight.

    The same would be great for tracking Macro in a weekly table view and also showing weekly averages.

    Our online coaching is very thorough and we track client averages to determine adjustments. An update like this would save so much time having to enter data into a spreadsheet seperately.

  3. Music option like Spotify with interval training

    I love the interval training especially with the timer. Can you add the music option like playlist... for example Tabata timer, have an option to play music in the background from your playlist while working.

  4. Sync boditrax with trainerize

    Boditrax is a body stat monitoring Machine in all David Lloyd clubs in the Uk. Seems to be used more and more in the last few months.

    The machine will Measure body fat, muscle mass, water levels, bone mass, metabolic rate and age etc

    Be great if after a measurement it could since results to the clients trainerize account for progress

  5. Sort / Re-Order workouts in calendar

    Rather than having to build a complete workout. We should be able to create groups of routines, piece workouts together and order them on the day exactly how we want - "warm ups", "main workouts", "cool downs".

    It would allow use to create template "warm ups" and "cool downs" and only need to change the main workout - otherwise it takes forever to build a complete workout.

    Ive tried numbering each part of my workouts and it doesn't work.
    Its quite annoying we cant even make it work in alphabetical order.... and looks very unprofessional when delivering to a client.…

  6. Be able to support mass scheduled messages

    Being able to schedule messages would be a game changer for fully automated online training. We could technically do this using email marketing software alongside trainerize, but it would be nice to have it all in one spot. Also, it's nice to be able to write a one off message when you're thinking about it even if it won't be relevant until a few days later.

  7. Sound of rest timer

    The alert is subtle- it would be great to have options like a whistle or horn. I use the rest timer while training clients and you can barely discern it from other iPhone alerts.

  8. Addition Fields for Exercises

    For your program design, I'm looking for additional fields for each exercise, such as tempo, recovery, intensity load (absolute and relative). I use PTEnhance, and it has all of those things. Of course Trainerize has things that they don't have, but I need the ease of designing programs first. Some examples are Tempo (Slow, Medium, Fast, or numeric for 3122, 21X1, etc.), Relative Intensity: 7 RPE, 2 reps in reserve. Rest 30 sec.

  9. Allow me to name the supersets within the same session.

    i.e. "Warm-Up", "Complex 1", "Complex 2", "Metabolic"so that each section of the workout can be categorized.

  10. Create an audio file attachment to the exercises.

    I'm consistently giving Verbal cues to clients WHILE they are performing movements.
    If they are able to listen to me tell them how/ when to breathe + what muscles to engage it would be more like having me with them - like in the studio...

  11. Add small group, partner, couple or duo training format. Ability to track multiple clients quickly

    For small groups it would save a lot of time if we would add group workouts to a group of people.

    This would work for small group and semi private clients.

    There could be two options for tracking.

    1. The clients track their own stats (ideal for small groups)

    2. With in the same view/page you could add stats for multiple people in a given workout with out having to switch in and out of clients to add stats (ideal for semi private)

    This is a must have feature. Right now stat tracking for more than one client at a time is…

  13. Change workouts into cardio templates

    I'd like cardio templates as well because of the detail and progression ability. I am technically creating different workouts for cardio, but when clients finish that it just adds to the workout number not the cardio number. Adding cardio on the calendar is super limited.

  15. Group multiple workout into one i.e. Cardio warm up, strength, metcon, then stretch )

    If I add cardio as a workout of the day first , it would be nice if it showed that first. It always seems to prioritize workouts over cardio

  17. Make it possible for trainers to add what we want on the client calendar instead of bring limited to a drop down list.

    I want to be able to include "Yoga class at the Y" or "meet with trainer" or whatever on my client calendar. While I like having the option to select workouts from the drop down menu, I think the rest is too limiting.

  18. Software update for the app? My client feels like it freezes and isn't very user friendly

    Update the app and make it more user friendly. Takes ages to load stuff which doesn't always load. can't open the workouts to read instructions nor do the videos appear

  19. Allow other workouts/tracking while a part of a program

    It drives me nuts that if I create a program for a client it takes away all their other workouts and the ability to move a workout or track a non-program workout. PLEASE open it up so even if a client is on a program they can still track "other workouts" and have workouts not in the program be a part of their library.

  20. measuring overall training volume

    I would like to see some additional functionality with regard to tracking the total number of hours scheduled and completed in strength training, cardio, etc. Its tough to track total training volume when you cannot record minutes/hour completed.
