We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Add goals to other body measurements

    Would be good to add goals to other body measurements and have the app track them, in the same way that you currently can with setting bodyweight goals. Body fat percentage and waist circumference are all popular goals which cannot be automatically tracked, for example.

  2. Ability for admin to hide MFP as an option in client's settings

    Business wants to move fully to in-app tracker and not even show the option of MFP tracking to a client. Admin should be able to turn on and off ability for client to see that option for food tracking.

  3. Add other training systems to Programs

    Add more options for training systems when creating a 'regular workout'

    At the moment you only have superset and circuit, however, things like Drop set, Pyramid, AMRAP, EMOM, Chipper would make it a lot easier for both the client and the trainer, rather than writing in the notes box- which also needs to be bigger when writing in, as if you make a mistake in the text you cant see as it scrolls along.

  4. Rolling Macros and Fat/Carb slider

    Would be nice if we could have rolling macros. This was one of the key things that helped me and a lot of my clients succussed with counting macros through a different tracking app we currently use. What it does is assigns them their daily macros and if they go over/under on fat/carbs it auto adjust the rest of the week (7 day check-in periods) to account for it and as long as they hit their total by their check-in day they still usually hit their weight loss/gain goal for the week but it gives them a little more freedom…

  5. Change Progress graph timeframes from calendar months to a rolling timeframe.

    Currently, the graphs can only be displayed using full calendar months.

    eg.
    1M - Nov
    3M - Sep/Oct/Nov
    6M - Jun/Jul/Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov

    If a client starts in the middle of Oct, and we review in the middle of Nov, we're only able to show half of Nov's data(1M). or zoom out to a full 3 calendar months just to see 31day's of progress.

    A rolling timeframe of days or weeks gives us a report that is easier to read, eliminates wasted graph space, and looks more professional.

    e.g. Display Previous:
    30 days
    60 days
    90 days

    Given that Trainerize already requires…

  7. Substituting a workout

    I have gotten feedback from my clients stating when they substitute an exercise that week and save their workout that next week when they go into the same workout the substituted exercise wasn't saved and the original exercise was still there... I think it would be beneficial if there are substitutions made they should be saved for the following weeks moving forward so that they don't have to go in and substitute the workout every week.

  8. Allow any workout created to be saved into a master library for the trainer to access forever

    Any workout created should be saved into a master library for easy access. Right now I import workouts client to client and sometimes I can't import due to a training phase. I would love all my workouts to be saved automatically into a library to easily use. All workouts. I created on term clients have disappeared.

  9. Analyze and auto-assign client follow-up tasks for trainers

    As a manager, sometimes it's hard to go through and proactive find customers about to cancel. It would be great if the app can identify them and schedule tasks for trainers to follow up.

  10. Be able to view EVERY client's nutrition bars in 1 screen.

    I have to open a new tab for every single client at once if I want to view their nutrition for the day. Like one big screen where you can scroll down little bubbles with their nutrition progress for the day & maybe even workout they did. Like a live dashboard. Or at least just an overall view of everyone at once . Because it's so many steps to view what everyone is doing / has planned for them for the day you have to check 1 by one which takes load screen after load screen.

  11. A cardio and supplementation section... viewable by both trainer and client

    I believe it's absolutely necessary to have a cardio protocol section as well as a supplement protocol section.

  12. Turn off notifications for certain clients

    Having the ability to turn off notifications for certain clients would be great. Some clients have more leniency and don't need to do every daily task.

  14. Auto Messages / Emails for new PURCHASE, not just new CLIENT

    Allowing for auto messages / auto emails to send for a new PURCHASE, not just a new CLIENT.

    When a previous client signs up again, they do not receive any of the initial Welcome Emails, PAR-Q, First Sign-in Message etc.

    It would be great to be able to have an additional messaging flow for any new purchases, not just new clients, so that returning clients can receive any new updates, fill out a new PAR-Q etc, since a lot can change over time (on both sides).

    • If a new workflow for this isn't possible, maybe even a checkbox to select…

  18. Being able to make private workouts for full access clients.

    Being able to make a workout private so only i can see the intensity and volume for my own records, and accessible for my clients to perform on their own. It would be nice to have the option for both without having to change the type of client.

  19. Ability to calculate waist to hip ratio

    Add an option to look at body measurements in total based on what we have the clients measure. Given it is impossible to "spot" reduce, I prefer to encourage my clients to look at the total inches plus/minus vs. each specific area.

    Also, Waist to Hip ratio is critical for overall health - could that also be a measure that is auto-calculated.

  20. New calender dialog schedule box is rubbish, it doesnt hold the day you selected and cannot add 2 workouts at once please chage it back

    Change the Dialog box back to old one when scheduling the programs and workouts in the calender set up. The new one has 3-4 more steps in it and doesnt hold what day you are one and cannot add more than one workout in the calender at once - revert back please it was fine
