Screenshot Blocker for Barcodes
Clients are reporting that members are able to do a screen shot of their ABC barcode and text/share to a non-member thus allowing that non-member to use the screenshot of the barcode to gain access to their gym. They want us to enable the app to where a member cannot screenshot or share the image with anyone else thus preventing fraudulent activity. Typically it turns the screen black or at least the outcome of the screen shot. Example similar to the Les Mills feature where a member cannot screen record any of the content that is playing on their phone.
28 votesWe are developing secure QR Barcodes which will not prevent a screenshot from being taken but will solve this issue by limiting the validity time period for barcodes.

Employee view does not show full gym schedule. We need this to recommend additional classes to members.

Manual Check into Class - Time limit
Need to Limit Time to say 2 hours prior to class that a member can manually check into a class. Currently they can book a class and check into the class as soon as they are booked. Even if it is a Week in advance.
Causing major issues with booking. Clients not showing up to classes but are marked as attended. issues for members that want to take the class and issues for payroll. As classes are showing full but only a fraction of the members are showing up.10 votes -

Instructors should be able to see schedules a week ahead of time. We should also be able to check members into classes.

Hide Enrollment Numbers
I have a few classes that are new at a new location. I have a few members that are being discouraged from enrolling in a class if they see 2/50 enrolled.
5 votesEnrollment numbers may be both a detractor and an attractor for a class. The best approach would be to hide the class attendance for classes under a certain percentage and show the attendance for classes over a certain percentage. We are considering this for future enhancement.

Class Frequency
Indicate the number of times the client has attended the class. This would allow the fitness instructor to easily identify first time guests as well as acknowledge regulars.

Hide classes when the time for the event has passed
The app used to hide classes the moment that class start time hit. In this new rendition, people will see any prior class that hasn't been closed out, which again, might cause some confusion for the members.

App to display the amenities that the member has access to based on membership type.
Clients would like members to be able to view their membership type and amenities in the app. For example if I am a Gold member (level higher than Basic) the member should see they have access to: Gym 24 hours, Tanning Beds, Towel Service, 1 complimentary Smoothie (once a month). Also would love to have a comparison for "If I upgrade to Platinum, I would get these additional amenities: 2 PT training sessions, pool access, tennis courts.

New Client Assigned - Email Notifications
The logic behind "New Client Assigned" notifications only applies to new members.
Suggestion: Trigger an in-app/email notification for the new trainer when a member is assigned from one trainer to another.

When payment is due, receive a notification
When a payment is approaching, user can receive a pop-up, banner, or push notification letting them know their payment is nearly due. The link will take them directly to the page to make their payment.

Update app design/layout
Trainerize is a great app, but some feedback says the calendar and the ‘list style’ workout layout is a bit “ugly and outdated”
I would love to give clients the option to view a ‘card style’ layout, similar to true coach.

memberships and recurring services that have the same automation, you should only have to set up the automation for those once and the rest should get set up automatically

Be able to write down. Changes or any important point in each exercise if neccssary

Have Trainerize sessions sync to client’s personal calendar
Some of my clients have requested that Trainerize automatically syncs appointments to their personal calendar apps instead of manually putting in appointments or looking at Trainerize app
