I don't prescribe my clients rest periods as it is counterintuitive in the field of hypertrophy. I want my athletes to dictate their own rest periods as I need them getting sufficient recovery in order to provide the most mechanical stimuli possible. This differs from each individual and each exercise. Rather I would love to see a Reps in Reserve (RIR) or RPE menu there instead.
