How to print all of your recipes for the week
I like to print off my recipes that I'm using for the week and I wish there was an option to quickly print all 9 of them.

Would be great if a shopping list could be provided for the client!
Provide a shopping list based on weekly meal plan for clients.

Add the ability to have different macro split for specific meals
I would like the ability to carb bunch in the day and limit carbs at dinner time. This could be done with a toggle per meal, e.g limit carbs

Creating my own data base of recipes and using those exclusively
It would be great if there was a way that I could create my own data base of recipes since my clients are whole food plant-based and for it to be selectable when I ask the platform to create a meal plan. So instead of choosing vegan I can select my own data base and it would pull recipes from there

ability to prescribe macros per meal within the app not just macros for the whole day.
I would like to be able to prescribe macros per meal for 4-6 meals per day depending on my client. I would prefer to be able to do this within the app rather than create a PDF for each client.
Right now, my understanding is that we can only create AI meal plans that keep you in a macro/ meal quantity parameter or macros that cover the whole day but dont have further breakdown options.6 votes -

Check your numbers. Many of the recipes are inaccurate and give far higher calorie and carb values.

If you aren't able to set custom macros with the meal planner, then it should allow you to keep the macro goal.
If you aren't able to set custom macros with the meal planner, then it should allow you to keep the macro goal option. I think it is critical to be able to set custom macros for our clients, not just a generic range that the meal planner provides.

There should be an option to choose like 3 meals and two snacks, vs just 3 meals
I want my clients to be able to have meals & snack ideas to hit their calories with the meal planner. Also, you should be able to mainly enter a calorie and macro count and the meal plans still match it, vs having to do an exact amount of 2200 with a perfect balance of 40/30/30

Allow clients to track food by using meal plan AND myfitnesspal instead of one or the other.
Instead of having to choose one or the other, using two for when you like the meal plans but want to track your own snacks during the day in myfitnesspal and want to view everything in total in the trainerize app.

Nutritional value database
- Ability to enter Trainerize's Nutritional Database regarding nutritional values of individual ingredients (protein, carbs, carbs (of which sugars), fat, salt, kcal etc.)
- Ability to add ingredients to a blank meal plan including amount needed
- Ability to have a calculator/overview, which shows the (total) nutritional value(s) of added ingredient(s) within the editing of a meal plan
- Ability to add custom ingredients to (personal profile) Trainerize Nutritional Database > *Ingredients should get certified before entering global Trainerize Nutritional Database
- Ability to compare ingredients, which can be filtered by 1. nutritional goal(s), 2. hormonal boosting, 3. macro's, etc. (also shown within the calculator/overview)…

Different sections for Meals and Recipes
Currently the Nutrition Master Library consists of 2 sections:
- Meals
- FoodsI would suggest you add a different section called Recipes where we can only add recipes that we then use for different Meals (just like how Workouts can be used for different programs)
The Meals section now functions both like a place to add Meal Examples and Recipe examples, however it would be nice if we could separate the 2 and then give the clients the option to either search for Meal Examples or for Recipe Examples.
The idea is already applied to other food trackers and…

Lower (1100+) calorie meal Smart Meal Plans
Currently, the app's lowest calorie target for meal plans is set at 1400 calories. I propose adding the ability to make smart meal plans from 1100 and up. This would provide more precise guidance to clients with lower targets (starting from 1100 calories).

how is this a meal planner?
It doesn't make sense that a trainer can't prepare menus for their clients. Not worth paying for if you can't switch out food items or create your own recipies / menu.

should be able to insert your own custom meal plans / recipies etc. not follow the pre-done ones which are typically far too time consuming

Macros
Must be able to plan the macros to the client in an exact measurement or at the very least from 1400 - 1450 and not a 100 calorie difference. Also would like to be able to add 5 meals a day to match the macros, not the current way where it only allows so many meals based on the macros. This forces me to set the macros high and then look for meals based on the calories and macros that I would like for the client.

Smart Meal Planner: Precision Nutrition Preset Macro Splits
Instead of the strange existing preset macro splits, if you can't let us manually add custom macro splits, please at least have the Precision Nutrition recommended macro splits for:
Ectomorphs: 25% Protein; 55% Carbs; 20% Fat
Mesomorphs: 30% Protein; 40% Carbs; 30% Fat
Endomorphs: 35% Protein; 25% Carbs; 40% Fat4 votes -
Option for "active days" and "rest days" with caloric intake adjusted accordingly.
Rather than a fixed daily intake, it should be adjusted for active days and rest days, as there can be a massive caloric discrepancy.
Eg: intake on a day with a 1.5 hour run would be 3000 cals, rest day cals at 2200.
