This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Allow clients to have a meal ideas set without it automatically adding a nutritional goal to track calories to their dashboard

    Allow clients who want to eat mindfully without the stress of calories - so as coaches we can set a meal plan that will be the correct calories and macros for their goals but from a clients point of view it doesn't automatically add for them to track it on their dashboard and also in the meal plan it doesn't display calories (or we as coaches have the option to turn this feature on or off) - as some clients have or have had eating disorders where calorie counting can be triggering.

  2. Edit nutrition info for scanned barcodes

    It's so common for foods to be incorrect when scanning the barcode on MyFitnessPal, so I tested it here and the very first thing I scanned was incorrect from the label. In MFP, we can edit & report this, but on Trainerize there was no way to correct the information for the item log.

    This + the very limited macro splits and 100 calories increments are two very limiting but important concerns for me and why I have not yet released this to my clients yet and may cancel the add-on.

  3. Create meals for people with Acid Reflux

    Create meals for people with Acid Reflux.
    I have Silent Acid Reflux, AKA as LPR, and I cannot eat from the majority of the recipes on this app.

  4. Auto exclusions like 'pork' etc. to help with inclusion for Muslim clients

  6. Up the game on the MEAL PLANNER!

    You guys need to have more vegan dishes + fiilters and options for the planner like change the macro % split, add like unprocess/process food options, EXCLUDE foods for people allergic like for example Broccoli, or a specific food, etc. Basically upping the game.

  7. Allow Precision Nutrition general recommended macro splits for Smart Meal Planner

    The PN professional calculator uses the following general macro splits:

    Balanced ~30% protein, ~35% carbs, ~35% fats
    Low fat ~30% protein, ~50% carbs, ~20% fats
    Low carb ~30% protein, ~20% carbs, ~50% fats

  12. Customized Nutrition Plans

    The meal recipes are great but I have a lot of people who want it basic and also as a coach I believe it is important to be able to customize the foods more like to build your own nutrition plan with our own knowledge on what the client needs. Most of my clients want this and not the recipes and it allows us as coaches to teach clients to be able to have more meals and not just 3 in 1400 calories for example.   13. Trainer / nutritionist writes in specific macros and caloric intake

    We need to be able to input calories and macros in detail. Like 1,245 not just 1,400 and we should be able to set calories lower than 1,400.

  14. integrate meals onto client calendar

    Have meal plan integrated onto client calendar for easy access, visibility for Coach and client. Toggling back and forth to various icons can be a time deterrent for some - I'd love to see as much info in one place as possible (from Coach perspective)

  15. Expand your Calorie Ranges significantly. All of my male bodybuilders eat more than 4000 calories per day!

    Allow for whatever macros a trainer needs and allow them to enter basic meals (like chicken and rice, ground beef and rice, chicken and pasta, etc) like MANY professional athletes eat instead of ONLY these overwhelming, complex meal ideas

  16. Make a full PORTIONS ONLY meal options

    Make a full PORTIONS ONLY meal options - following a 'healthy balanced plate' with palm sizes INSTEAD of displaying the calories.

    For example - display the clients balanced intake at the top with portions, and give them recipes below for what they can make as examples with those portions.

  17. Only Upgrade Trainarize will ever need

    All pre-made meals are great but some of the servings are wrong. Trainarize will be golden if you make it so we can easily manually modify that.

  19. Make it so there are meals with leftovers

    I add my own recipes, and they usually create 3-4 portions. So it would be amazing if the meal planner could build the 7 days around that. Ex. If a meal you make on day 1 has 4 portions then it would AUTO put them into tues/wed/thurs.
