Coach / Trainer - ABC Trainerize

We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified.

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

Thanks!

  1. Ability to set custom macros

I find that usually protein intake is way to high for clients on maintenance/build since the lowest split is 30% of total calories.

It would be great if we as trainers could modify at least that protein field and set custom goal.

  2. We need more options for macros with the nutrition plans

jumping form 30% protein to 40% protein is way too large of a gap.

For 2200 calories this is 165 grams at 30%, and 220 grams at 40%.

We need to be able to better adjust the macro percentages, or have more percentages. 35% protein is needed for sure at the minimum.

  3. Recurring sessions with automated billing

Be able to sell a package of sessions to a client, track those sessions as they are used and have the session package automatically rebilled to the client once those sessions are used. For example, a client buys 3 sessions, for a week's worth of training. Once all 3 sessions are used that week, if they come in all 3 times, then the sessions are automatically sold again, ready to be used for the next week. If they only come in twice in a week, the sessions are rebilled again after the 3rd one is used the next time they…

  4. Pickleball

Hey, pickleball is becoming way more popular, so it needs to be added. Also, boxing and kickboxing are missing, and they’re very popular too.

  6. Metric and imperial system

The grocery list is great! But for us Europeans it's very hard to understand how much spinach is needed if it says 2 cups. We have no idea. So please add the function of using grams and kgs as well.

  9. can clients share recipes with one another?

I have a client that is dating another trainer's client. They think it would be much easier if they could share the emails together between each other.

  10. Mealplanner needs a wider variety of macro splits !

Clients need a far broader scope of macros than the typical body building splits. My endurance athletes need carbs 50%+ up to 60s and even 70s so these plans pre-selections do not cut it.

It should all a bit more free form to edit once designed.. for eg if my client needed 6 meals on one day and 5 on the next etc. instead of generic static same every day set ups. This doesn't reflect true sport nutrition needs.

  11. Daily nutrition

For the perspective of client , would be easy to do the nutrition daily information in the app, the nutritional information, content and not just the macros. Like Kahunas app does .
The client doesn’t like to use 2 app ( trainerize and plus MyFitnessPal)

  12. Give trainers the option to change an ingredient.

For example, instead of the suggested pea protein, we can change it to whey protein, ect. Or instead of flank steak, we can change it to bison meat, or lean ground beef.

  13. Allow for Multiple Trainers to be on Group Calls

Allow multiple trainers to hold the group sessions. For example if there are two trainers holding the mindset call - allow both to be hosts of the call in app.

  14. Allow clients to upload videos taken from their own phones, rather than through the Trainerize app.

Right now clients have to film themselves through the trainerize app. It would be great if they could film on their own phone and edit if need (cropping etc), to then upload to the messaging.

  17. Show 'Recent Activities' on right when in 'Messenger'

Allow trainers to be able to see the 'Recent Activities' feed (unique to each client; as shown on client dashboard) while in the desktop messenger for each client. This would minimize clicking between pages while messaging/checking in with clients on the desktop messenger.

  18. "Area Select" on Calendar

CLICK + DRAG TO SELECT MULTIPLE ELEMENTS ON THE CALENDAR:

Deleting/Moving a number of elements in the calendar can be time consuming doing them all one by one.

An 'area select' feature: where you click+drag the cursor to create a rectangular selection area (like you may do on your desktop) can be very useful in this area.

    For example:
    - I may want to move all of Fridays tasks (a workout, a check-in, an automated message) to Saturday
    - Right now, I would have to click + drag each one, and wait for the clarification message to pop up +…

  20. Custom add Meals with smart plan meals!!!!!

Need to be able to add custom things into the smart meal planner, most of my clients will have a protein shake as a snack, its very annoying that this isn't doable like on Everfit.
