This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to have an email sequence for missed sessions.

    If a client has been tagged for missed sessions adding them to an email sequence to reengage them in the entire program again will be of benefit

  2. Pull a weight report of everyone in a certain program

    Be able to take a group and create healthy competition for weight and a check in weekly

  3. Ability to simply add (deliver) pre-made programs in the App

    On desktop we can import/export programs now we would like to do it in App

  4. Optional tabs to set body measurements: visceral fat, bmi, fitness test ones

  5. Technique randomizer!

    🙋🏼‍♂️Movement randomizer feature!!!!

    Example: I’m building a pushing workout. I have bench press, dumbbell press, incline dumbbell press and military press... is love to have a feature where I could insert a randomized block that’s set to choose from specific movements that I select. Say after the four I want two random isolated pushing movements. So I could select tricep push down, skull crushers, Sphinx push ups, Bobineaux the head dumbbell extensions or lay pull over...

    each time the client open the workout it will automatically be set to one of those movements that I set to randomly select.

  6. Have a Complete Programming View

    When I'm programming I like to be able to see everything I've programmed for the client over the last couple of months to get a big picture of what progressions I'm following etc. Right now I'm basically listing the exercises outside of Trainerize so I have a quick-glance option when I'm writing their next program, which seems a bit silly.

  8. Have a calendar for all clients workouts for the day. Instead of having to go to each individual calendar.

    I would like to have my calendar with all the clients and workouts listed that are scheduled for the day. Then I can click on which one I would like instead of going to each client individually.

  9. Link with the app 'Strong' for better and easier logging

    Strong is the best app I have ever used for logging my training. It's simple and minimalistic.

    If my clients could log on that app and integrate it into Trainerize, you would have a complete package.

  10. More customizable options on mobile app

    There are a whole lot less options and flexibility to customize my site and programs on the mobile app like I would on the full desktop version.

  11. Sync boditrax with trainerize

    Boditrax is a body stat monitoring Machine in all David Lloyd clubs in the Uk. Seems to be used more and more in the last few months.

    The machine will Measure body fat, muscle mass, water levels, bone mass, metabolic rate and age etc

    Be great if after a measurement it could since results to the clients trainerize account for progress

  12. Make it possible for trainers to add what we want on the client calendar instead of bring limited to a drop down list.

    I want to be able to include "Yoga class at the Y" or "meet with trainer" or whatever on my client calendar. While I like having the option to select workouts from the drop down menu, I think the rest is too limiting.

  13. Allow other workouts/tracking while a part of a program

    It drives me nuts that if I create a program for a client it takes away all their other workouts and the ability to move a workout or track a non-program workout. PLEASE open it up so even if a client is on a program they can still track "other workouts" and have workouts not in the program be a part of their library.

  14. Calendar Edit Functionality

    It would be great to be able to change a workout on the calendar without having to delete it and put in a new workout.

  15. Rate your workout feature

    A rate your workout feature would be beneficial. I have my clients rate their workout in the notes section on a scale of 1 being easy and 10 being hard. That way I can adjust when I design their next week/plan. An easy star rating after they finish would be nice.

  17. Allow trainers to have multiple locations; maybe 2 or 3?

    After moving, some trainers may still have a connection with their previous location and want to be available for that area.

  18. See past stats when opening a tracked workout from the overview

    When clicking an already tracked workout from the Recent Activities list, it would be sweet to be able to see the progress already there.

    So instead of only showing weights and reps for that workout, show the past 3-4 workout stats.

  19. Optimize for Android

    A few suggestions for Android/overall platform:
    1) Get rid of iOS style scroll-wheel
    2) Implement the back button
    3) Allow for locally stored client data,
    4) Allow for changing order of workouts in app

  20. Allow Negative Weight Entry

    Some workouts need to be regressed by taking off weight. For example, pull-ups or training finger strength on a hang board.

    It seems like there is a condition in the app that won't let me date entry negative weight.

    Can this be changed so that I can log a set with -15 lbs for ex?
