Barbell weight set for home
A barbell weight set typically includes a barbell and a set of weight plates that can be attached to the bar. The barbell is a long, metal bar that is usually around 7 feet in length and weighs approximately 45 pounds (20 kilograms). The weight plates are available in various sizes and weights, allowing you to adjust the overall weight of the barbell.
When purchasing a barbell weight set, you can choose between standard weight plates or Olympic weight plates. Standard weight plates have a 1-inch diameter hole and are commonly used for home gyms, while Olympic weight plates have a 2-inch diameter hole and are used in commercial gyms and professional weightlifting competitions.
The total weight of the set will depend on the number and size of the weight plates included. Common weight plate sizes are 2.5 pounds, 5 pounds, 10 pounds, 25 pounds, 35 pounds, and 45 pounds. Some sets may also include fractional plates, which are smaller weight plates used for fine-tuning the weight lifted.
It's important to consider your fitness goals and strength levels when choosing a barbell weight set. Beginners may start with a lighter set and gradually increase the weight as they progress.
Barbell weight set for home
If you're looking for a barbell weight set for home use, there are several options available to suit different budgets and needs.
Adjustable Dumbbell Set: An adjustable dumbbell set is a versatile option that allows you to adjust the weight of each dumbbell. Some sets come with a connector, converting them into a barbell. This option is space-saving and ideal for smaller home gyms.
Standard Barbell Weight Set: A standard barbell weight set typically includes a 7-foot barbell and weight plates with a 1-inch diameter hole. These sets are more affordable and suitable for beginners or those with limited space. They are commonly found in sporting goods stores and online retailers.
Olympic Barbell Weight Set: If you have enough space and a larger budget, an Olympic barbell weight set may be a good choice. These sets include a 7-foot Olympic barbell with a 2-inch diameter hole and weight plates made for Olympic lifting. Olympic sets are commonly used in commercial gyms but can also be purchased for home use.
How to exercise with a barbell weight set?
There are many exercises you can do with a barbell weight set.
Squats: Place the barbell on your shoulders behind your neck, with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Deadlifts: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and the barbell on the ground in front of you. Bend down and grab the bar with your palms facing down. Keep your back straight as you lift the bar off the ground, then stand up.
Bench press: Lie on a bench with your feet flat on the ground and the barbell above your chest. Grasp the bar with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, then lower the bar to your chest and push it back up.
Overhead press: Hold the barbell at shoulder height with your palms facing forward.
Lunges: Hold the barbell on your shoulders behind your neck, with your feet shoulder-width apart. Step back and repeat with the other leg.
When working with a barbell weight set, it's important to use proper form and technique to avoid injury. Start with lighter weights and gradually increase the weight as you become more comfortable with each exercise.
What weight barbell should a beginner use?
The weight of the barbell for a beginner will depend on several factors, including their current strength level and experience with weightlifting. However, a common starting point for beginners is to use a standard 45-pound (20-kilogram) barbell.
For those who are new to weightlifting or have limited strength, it may be beneficial to start with a lighter barbell or even a training barbell. Training barbells are typically shorter and lighter, weighing around 15-20 pounds (7-9 kilograms). They can help beginners develop proper form and technique before progressing to a standard 45-pound barbell.
It's important to note that the weight used for exercises will also include the additional weight plates attached to the barbell. As a beginner, it's recommended to start with lighter weights and gradually increase the load as your strength and comfort levels improve.

Merging Exercise Videos To Avoid Duplicates
The exercise libary is extensive, but sometimes I may create a new exercise by mistake as the one on here is under a different name. I'd like to be able to merge the newly created video to the current one, and for the stats relating to clients progress to merge over too.

Hide Workout Plans for nutrition clients
Coaches should have the option to hide a client's custom workout plan if they downgrade from workouts to just nutrition coaching. Currently the only option is to delete their custom plan and it loses all their data.

Take out all artificial sweeteners please
Artificial sweeteners definitely need to go--even the "healthy" ones. There's too much research around these being bad for you, so I'd love it if they weren't included.

Switching accounts on Android app causes the setup process to run again each time
I have multiple client accounts with Trainerize. I'm on Anroid.
When I switch between the accounts on the app I have to go through the app setup process each time. This would be an easy fix that would reduce my friction significantly for multiple accounts.

expired program set to inactive
A client can purchase custom programing. When they're finished, they often return to my monthly membership (master program). But they can still see their last month of custom workouts and could continue doing them without paying for them. I would like to be able to inactivate a program to hide it from the client but keep it in their training program fo me to see.

New Client Type For In Person Coaching
I use Trainerize to plan sessions and keep track of my clients exercise progress mostly, Only a few benefit from habit tracking and the ability to set up an online plan for them to do independently.
Please can we have a new client type for in-personal coaching, which is cheaper and doesn't give the client in-app access or any other features. I don't need the ability to take payments from clients either as this is done by bank trainsfer.
To confirm, the in-person coaching option should still have a dashboard so I can still see their steps, calories, MFP and plan sessions only, with no online access for the client.

Custom cardio metrics
Be able to customize the cardio metric you want to measure for each different cardio exercise. For example I might want to measure running in miles but I definitely want to measure rowing in meters. This should be independent of the "units selected" in the profile.

Progression based on 1RM
Basically give the trainer the option to set progression spreadsheet based on the clients 1RM.
For example a client 1RM for deadlift is 200lb and to progress this client the spreadsheet gives the option to set it based on % off 1rm. starting from 70% and slowly progressing this client to 90% of 1 rm for reps.7 votes -
Ability To Purchase Class When Booking On
I really like the self-booking feature for classes. However, it would be even better if clients could purchase credits within the user interface when trying to book a class without enough credits. Currently, we have to provide a separate payment link which is not a good user experience.
The payment link/button should provide a list of products that match the same event type for the class. For instance, they have the option to buy a one-off class or 4 sessions.

Client able to create re-usable workout, not just one-time use WOD
Trainerize is an awesome software for tracking all things related to progress on the client end.
I personally have a lot of clients and following that would love to use my custom-branded app to track their weight, photos, nutrition, etc. but don't have the ability to create a re-usable workout to track their own training on their end.
It would be awesome if a client could create their own workout that is saved for re-use in their workout section, storing their progress like coach-created workouts - instead of just a WOD that is only for one-time use, meaning they would have to re-create it every day they wanted to do it.

Compact treadmill with incline Workout Exercise
Here's a sample workout exercise routine that you can do on a compact treadmill with incline features:
Warm-Up
1. Start by walking at a comfortable pace on a flat surface for 5 minutes to warm up your muscles and prepare your body for the workout.
Main Workout:
2. Set the treadmill incline to a moderate level (around 5-8%) and start walking at a brisk pace for 5 minutes to engage your leg muscles and elevate your heart rate.
3. Increase the incline to a higher level (around 10-15%) and walk at a challenging pace for 3 minutes to simulate uphill climbing and work your lower body and cardiovascular system.
4. Lower the incline back to a moderate level and walk at a recovery pace for 2 minutes to catch your breath and recover before the next interval.
5. Repeat the incline intervals (high incline for 3 minutes, moderate incline for 2 minutes) for a total of 3-5 sets, depending on your fitness level and endurance.Cool Down
6. Finish the workout by lowering the incline and walking at a slow pace on a flat surface for 5 minutes to gradually bring your heart rate down and cool down your muscles.
7. Use this time to stretch your leg muscles, focusing on your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps.Additional Tips
Stay hydrated throughout your workout by drinking water before, during, and after the exercise session.
Listen to your body and adjust the incline and speed based on your fitness level and comfort.
Incorporate this workout routine into your weekly schedule, aiming for 2-3 sessions per week to challenge your body and improve your cardiovascular fitness and lower body strength.
Consider adding variations such as side shuffles, walking lunges, or reverse walking on the treadmill to target different muscle groups and add variety to your workouts.
Remember to consult with a fitness professional or healthcare provider before starting any new workout routine, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or concerns. Adjust the workout intensity and duration based on your fitness level and goals.https://www.relifesports.com/product/folding-home-treadmill/

Show trainer availability and vacation on schedule, especially on week view so owners and managers can schedule appointment..
Often times owners or managers are trying to schedule trainer's appointments, but are unavailable during certain times of the day, especially in the future. It would be great if it were integrated in the scheduling screen. Would also be great if adding vacation or unavailable times in the schedule screen rather than having to take many extra steps to enter through many different screens.
