We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Remove ads on "Overview" Page

    When I sign in I have multiple large ads for the in-app meal tracker and an ad to invite other trainers show up that takes up most of the screen on my overview page. I can understand ads for other features being on the overview page, but they either need to be off to the side, smaller, or I should be able to close them/minimize them/whatever. Aside from the "Recent Activity" list on the right side of the page, I have to scroll down to actually start seeing my client overviews. Those things should be front and center.

  2. Progression Spreadsheet Updates on Program Calendar

    Issue: When you update a program exercise by changing it on a program that exists on a calendar, the exercise does not update on the scheduled calendar.

    Discussion: This is an issue because you can never change a exercise on an existing program without unscheduling the whole workout and redoing the progression spreadsheet.

    Recommendation: Allow changes to the workout exercises and progression spreadsheet that will also update on the program calendar.

  3. Track when client substitutes an exercise

    When reviewing a client's workout(s), it would be nice to see when and what they substituted. With the client load and time that goes by, it's hard to remember what was originally in the workout and what they changed. It also helps us coach them better to know what they substitute.

    I need to be able to set guidelines on macro targets per meal, or at least be able to see total amounts for the day while planning the meal.

    I like the app but only wear a whoop. It's more accurate than others I have tried. Would it be possible to add whoop? I don't want to go away from this app.

  6. Focus on the trainers business!!

    More business metrics. We need to be able to see upcoming payments, track client attendance. And use some AI features to streamline things. We don't need more exercises!!! Implement things to help trainers grow

  7. try to have something to replace calendry so its all in one for links we can use for people to sign up with our business logo and questionai

    normally we need a funnel system link on ig to book clients and ask questions to see if they qualify

    would like a link i can put on ig and asks them basic questions then goes to a calendar to book calls like calendly

  8. Allow trainers to create personalised macro and calorie breakdowns.

    Seems a bit silly we can't create personalised meal plans. Majority of clients I work with are on high protein diets but when you set it on the app, it drops fats crazy low. Considering carbs are non essential but fats play an important role in health function, it should probably be the other way round or we should be able to tweak the macros and calories ourselves.

    Meals are way too 'fancy' and complicated. Maybe some like this would be good but 50% need to be simple and easy

  10. Allow Data to be Pulled Via API - Health and Workout Data

    I want to be able to pull data under the progress section via api and have it return back to me in a json format. I want to use the data to create my own metrics and dashboards to use when coaching clients. While Trainerize offers some it is lacking and not comprehensive.

  11. Message All Clients Booked in Group/Class

    The trainer assigned to a Group/Class session should be able to message all clients booked for a session in a group message from the Calendar instead of trying to do the same from the Messages in another browser tab adding one client at a time - very time consuming and inaccurate.

    Let us decide the auto reply, I feel a flex arm or however we want to auto reply would be better.

  13. Meal Plan Builder From Scratch

    I find myself using chat GPT to build a lot of my PDF meal plans because the recipes in the app are just too time consuming. I've used other training apps that allow me to build a meal plan by adding ingredients manually. Would love a feature like that AND allow them to track the customized meal into their tracker. Loving the in app tracking btw! Just wish it had more options.

  14. Allow clients to enter in daily stats using a 1-5 scale

    Examples:
    mood on 1-5 scale (5 being great mood)
    low back pain 1-5 scale
    energy levels 1-5 scale
    could even have notifications for them to enter these in at certain times during the day (900, 1200, 1500, etc)

    Habits automatically tick off when they have reached them. E.g. when someone hits 10k steps - it automatically ticks off the habit.

  17. Log Daily Macros Button VS MyFitnessPal if Cronometer/LoseIt/Apple Health isn't available

    As much as I would prefer integrations with Cronometer, Lose It or even Apple Health syncing calories/macros/micros. I understand that it's not always something that can happen (or at least quickly).

    A "log daily macros" would be better than nothing. This way the client can just input total calories, carbs, protein, fats for the day (bonus vote for fiber and water).

    The work around right now is a custom meal each day but it's too clunky.

    I'm new to Trainerize and this is a big hang up for me as I recommend Cronometer to clients.

  18. Make the macros and total calories more flexible and wide ranging for customized meal plans.

    You just need to make more flexibility in the app with the autogenerated meals. Great that you made 7 days and so many dietary patterns. But default "balanced" to 30% protein is absolutely ridiculous. There should be an option to customize the macros. Similarly you can't plan anything under 1400 calories. Why? So weird. Also you need to triple check your math on many recipes. They don't all add up.

  20. Les Mills - Marketing Resource for our fitness Bus to on sell directly to our clients

    The Les Mills on demand option is attractive. Could Trainerize please consider providing a marketing flyer or package with some options like Hybrid & at home that our fitness business could then adapt using Canva & punch out direct to our clients fast!?

    Be great to have a marketing video link within the flyer showing a collage of Les Mills program styles (variety) working from the Trainerize APP.

    Example: Benefits - Train in a private boutique studio to eliminate home distractions, schedule 'me' time into APP for sessions
