This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to track wellbeing/Mental Health/Mood

    It would be nice if there was some way of tracking a clients mood on a daily basis as exercise massively assists people mental health and state of mind it would be good for clients to be able to view their progress, not just physically but mentally too!!

  2. Schedule a break/ time-off in a plan

    It would be nice to have a option to add a break into a scheduled program for a client if they need time off for illness or injury without having to fully rebuild the plan. For example you have a 6 week plan set up and workouts scheduled but client gets sick and you need to delay the plan for 10 days on the 2nd week of the plan so they can recover and start back up on week 3 after their scheduled 10 day break. It would just automatically push everything down on the calendar without needing to manually…

  3. 30, 60, 90 Day challenge with accumulated countdown

    If I have a 30 day squat challenge and I would like them to do 1000 squats a month, I would like the app to count down what's left of their challenge.

    Example: I have a client doing a challenge and after the first day he did 50 squats. I would like the app to say "Good job you did 50 squats today! 950 squats left and 29 days to go!"

  5. Change time for Automated In-app Messages

    Many of the automated in-app messages are set to send at 9am, which is okay for some, but not for others (such as 1st day of a training plan) when you have clients who may workout much earlier than this.

    Currently not able to use this feature, and have to create individual auto-messages per client or program in order to send the "1st day" message earlier than 9am.

  8. more metrics in the exercise library.... watts (power), inches (height)

    more options when writing and monitoring workouts. great that you can collect data for reps, weight, distance etc, but more required

  9. Alternative Exercises

    I'd love the option to have a client easily swap out an exercise if they do not have the necessary equipment available. This would be helpful for those who may only have gym access a few days a week or if their gym doesn't have necessary equipment. I have a done-for-you program that doesn't require much customization so it'd be nice to give them the option of swapping an exercise. Thank you!

  10. Can you make promotional video that I can use for my Facebook page or website?

    I want a professional video to use on my Facebook page that shows potential clients how Trainerize will work for them.
    Would it also be possible to share videos from the exercise library to Facebook/Instagram so I can post an 'Exercise of the day'?

  13. Overlapping charts when viewing biometric results

    Instead of viewing biometric charts individually we should be able to select bodyweight, bodyfat, lean mass and fat mass to be displayed on the same chart.

  14. Reduce the number of clicks to complete a habit.

    Reduce the number of clicks it take to complete a habit. It seams redundant to have to mark a habit, then be sent to instructions page then save every time you complete a habit.

  15. Add timers and exercise overlays for video calling. P oh

    Interval cam has a system that allows the client to see what exercise will be next. It would be convenient to have the workouts on the screen while coaching the client in case there are any connection errors.

  16. Add Reps in Reserve (RIR) after every set

    It would be useful to understand how the clients find each exercise / set rather than the workout as a whole. I find the overall rating isn’t a true reflection.

  19. Goals with deadlines

    The ability to set a date for the goals. For example, will be 60kg by the 01/04/2021 etc. Having a clear deadline adds a sense of urgency and adherence.

    Then when they’ve met this goal another can then be added and a new target set.

    Having a goal without a deadline right now seems immeasurable and difficult to track progress

  20. Coach guided live stream / video calls with timers, heart rate

    Video platform with option to sync fitness watches, rest clock visible on both ends, and the option to draw on screen for better cueing.
