We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Can we log changing weight during a set?

    If a client cannot complete a set with the starting weight they want to be able to log that they switched weight and the number of reps they completed.

  3. Compare before and after pictures on web

    It's pretty odd that this is not available. Being able to see before and after side by side on the website. this is only available on the app

  4. “Hold” any further changes.

    Please place a hold on any further “updates” “features” “add ons” “layouts” and leave the app for at least 6 months of any changes. Too many bugs, glitches, poor customer experiences, non practical steps and access for trainers over the past several months. We need a breather and a smooth run for both sides for a while.

  5. Allow clients to track food by using meal plan AND myfitnesspal instead of one or the other.

    Instead of having to choose one or the other, using two for when you like the meal plans but want to track your own snacks during the day in myfitnesspal and want to view everything in total in the trainerize app.

  6. Upgrades For Plans

    I have my clients on 3, 6, and 12 month plans at 1, 2 or 3 times per week. Sometimes, they decide they want to add days or increase the duration of their plan, but they don’t always want to add a whole new contract. They just want the remainder of their current agreement to be different.

  7. The option to program directly on to our calendar.

    It would be less time-consuming if there was an option to have a more open way to program workouts directly onto our client's workouts.

    Please excuse me for not knowing how to describe this, but services like "truecoach" make this style of programming very straightforward.

    Where you can program workouts directly onto the calendar. Enter instructions and exercises, with room for special instructions for a whole circuit (with just text and attaching videos from the library) - giving us the freedom to create.

    Also, it's very easy to drag and drop around the calendar.

  8. The ability to see which programs have the same workout added to it from the workout screen.

    When in the workout tab it would be good to see which current programs have this workout assigned to it. The issue I am facing is if I want to update a workout for 1 client, I am not always sure that another client isn’t doing the same workout. So rather than just editing, I am having to duplicate the workout and make the changes to the copy - since I might not want to change it for all clients.

  10. Ability for clients to add their personal workouts so that they can be tracked with trainer assigned workouts

    Currently if client’s do a workout on their own they can’t track it in the app. They should have this ability.

  11. Meal Planner needs to be more allow more creativity (and instead of or)

    It sounds like you need a more flexible meal planner that allows for greater creativity and customization. Assigning meals by days or weeks is a great start, but it would be even better to have a hybrid system that takes into account not only the days and weeks, but also times and phases. Additionally, having the ability to adjust caloric intake percentage and having the meals populate based on these inputs would be a huge asset.   12. Brazilians culture

    Most of my clients are from Brazil. In our country culturally we have dinner a lil later than us. So would be good to have an snack option to switch the morning snack to aftarnoon snack.

  14. Coaches Calendar

    I'm an online nutrition and health coach, so all of my services are delivered via Trainerize. I would love for there to be an option to have a "coaches calendar" that I could subscribe all of my clients to, create events, and send reminders for events, group calls, masterclasses, etc that I'm hosting. This would remove the need to have clients in a google calendar, fb group, etc if I could just subscribe my clients to my "coaches calendar" to update them on new events, add a link to the call/event, send auto messages (like to post a win in…

  16. Option to hide "other trainers" at top of profile

    have the "find other trainers" on the Profile Page have the ability to be "hidden". I see it as a chance for your leads to find other trainers, more experienced ones. Why would I want this, its a chance to loose your leads. I think having the option to hide it would make trainers put more content on the profile

  19. Group training program

    Be able to see the shared program across all clients enrolled in that group training session, that way I can have a glance at each person’s current weight for each exercise without having to bounce between clients in-app.

    Be able to look at more than one client’s programming on my computer in different tabs so that I can compare programming for clients that are in group sessions at once without having to go back and forth between clients.

  20. See clients specific personal bests set on each workout.

    We are notified of client personal bests, but we do not see the specifics of the personal best when training remotely. It would be nice if the trainer can see the workout completion screen that the client sees showing the details on which exercises had new personal bests set. This would allow the trainer to more accurately provide feedback on workouts completed.
