This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. A dashboard for the trainer to see an overview

    In the Meal Tracker portion that I see as a trainer, I wish I could view all of their food pictures for the past week or month. Just like you can view the macros and calories via MyFitnessPal in the progress tab under nutriton graphs. If you added another tab to progress that uploaded all their photos with the date then you could click on each one from there to get the food stats if they uploaded that.

  2. Have a tab of “easy to make” meals for those that are new to cooking.

    I have clients that are very new to cooking and eating healthy, I think it would be helpful to have some meals with less ingredients that would be easier to make. Like chicken, rice, and broccoli for example.

  3. Give trainers the ability to choose macro split.

    I'd love to be able to adjust the macro split for each individual client instead of only having pre-set options to choose from. Some of my clients are high calorie but don't need 130g of protein, they need significantly less. Some of them only need 20% protein or 25%. It would be great if coaches could pick our own macro splits!

  8. Custom macros and meal plan fits as near as possible without changing targets

    Needs to include custom cals and macros to be entered with the nearest meal plan being found, not cals being made the goal dependant on the meal plan. For example, my clients are automatically set the goal rounded up to the 100, which isn't accurate enough. One of my client is set 1550 and I have the choice of going to 1500 or 1600.

  9. self book recurring appointments

    The ability for clients to self-book recurring appointments. If they attend the same appointment every week, be able to book that appointment as recurring. Right now the trainer has to schedule recurring appointments.

  10. Automatically generate weights based on percentages using the clients 1 rep max numbers

    If I design a program that is using a percentages based progression structure it would be great to be able to enter (ex. 65%) and based on their 1rep max numbers the app automatically generates the load (ex. 200 lbs) in the program for that exercise.

  11. Goal/Mantra/Motivation on dashboard

    I think it would be really useful for clients to be able to see at the top of their dashboard, (so its visible each time they open the app) a big display to remind them WHY they're doing what they're doing.

    So when they sign up, they can set up their display with their goal, or maybe a mantra they want to go by, or something motivational.

    I think this would go a long way for keeping clients motivated

  12. Include and exclude specific foods and individual macro targets

    You need to add some features like they have in eatthismuch.
    1. An option to set individual macro targets
    2. More options with how much meals and snacks a day
    3. Including just specific foods. Or more options to exclude
    4. More recipes suited to these foods
    5. Planing the whole week with meals/ recipes
    6. Option to add own recipes

  13. Ability to see remaining credits in client profiles on mobile app

    And for the mobile app, maybe on the client view screen, in addition to the currently displayed "last view," it could also display # credits and when they expire.

  14. Training days and rest days macros. Add macros in overall program.

    Being able to prescribe training day macros and rest day macros to a client would be ideal. Also being able to add daily nutrition goals and habits to the overall program would be awesome. Thanks.

  15. Ability to log/track and search for 1RM, 3RM, 5RM, 10 rep max history for each client easily

    Currently in the trainerize apk there is a history list and a running bar showing 3 rm, 5rm, max weight ever and max volume. As so, the trainee is unable to quickly check the PRs for the rep range that his/her coach prescribed for the given day.
    Solution:Clicking the exercise leads to a history list with date, reps and weight, swiping left leads to a list of all rep ranges (1-15) and the records for these rep ranges.

  18. The ability to click on a food item and see the macros for the different portion sizes once it it already logged.

    Once something is logged, I am no longer able to see what is in the food (macro wise). I would like to be able to click on the food and see how the different portion sizes changes the macros. I feel that this will help clients learn what is in the different foods better.

  19. Lower calorie 1400 menu options with more than 3 meals offered and lower calories per meal like 300 not 500

    Clients between 1200-1400 need more than 3 options like protein shakes or mini snacks. If the meals were simplified this may help as well as allowing trainer to add a pdf and meal plan instead of either or option.
