We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Improve Exercise Filters

    In the Workout Builder, when applying more than one exercise filter we should only see results that have all of the filters. Right now we are seeing results that only show one or more filters. Not accurate.

  2. Turn off auto-posting to groups for some clients

    Rather than only being able to have auto-posts turned on or off, have the ability to turn it off for those who do not want that information being shared to the group, while leaving it on for others.

  3. Easy to find uploaded files in app

    Clients can't find uploaded files in groups easily. Need easy access to group files. Example; challenge group I have, I want to upload PDFs for ALL members to the group. Not individually. I sent them via the group message and now they all have to scroll through to try and locate. Solution; group files easy access.

  4. Hide business services for new trainer

    Ability to hide specific services from another trainers trainerize.me page. For example; One trainer specific for nutrition so to have training packages hidden from their account

  5. Allow decimal points across all areas of the app

    Allow clients/users to enter nutrition data that has decimals.

    13.8g protein etc.

  6. Clients need to see food data prior to logging it.

    The ability for the client to see the nutrition data for the food prior to logging it. And the ability to see how each meal adds up the macros throughout the day. JUST like you can with My Fitness Pal.

  8. Integrate with Nutritionix

    Integrations with nutritionix.com to allow clients to input their food, and meals.
    The food database has over 754k grocery foods with barcodes and 185k restaurant foods.

    It is also dietitian verified. They have a seamless API to place in your backend system/s.

  9. Ability to group locations into regions / state

    Ability to group clubs like Seattle, Tacoma into Washington state. Or multiple states into a region like "Northwest"

    Lower the minimum hours (before start time) that clients can self book in an appointment.

  11. Allow smart meal planner to work in calories only mode.

    We should be able to assign how a client tracks meals when using the smart meal planner.

    I want to give my challenge client calories only tracking, but it's only but it only gives the calories and macros as an option to select.

  12. Ability to import deactivated clients programs

    It would be awesome if we could import deactivated clients programs to someone's training plan.

    At the moment I need to reactivate an old client the import the program from them then deactivate the old client again.

    Things would be much easier if we didn't need to do this

  13. Not enough foods, not easy to access

    My clients are saying that they cannot record simple things like a tsp of butter, or 25g of cheese and the diary doesnt have very many options to choose from. They are also saying it would be better to have a button that takes you direct to the add food/scan barcode option as they have to keep clicking through things to get to it. I would really like to get rid of using my fitness pal for my clients and have everything in the one app, but this doesn't seem possible until the in app tracker is just as efficient…

  14. Easier for clients to add food to the diary:

    a quick add button on the main page to add food to the diary; it would be great if they could just use this app for tracking food, but the feedback im getting is that my fitness pal is so much easier to add food to, on this app they have to go through lots of options instead of just being able to click once and be on the add food/ scan barcode section.

  15. Repeat occurrence for scheduling Workouts

    The app already asks for the phase length so you should just simply be able to schedule "every Monday" and then it should automatically fill the schedule. The fact that I have to click each and every day on that calendar is silly and a waste of time.

  16. Automatically play custom videos (uploaded or imported from YouTube)?

    I chose the Trainerize platform for its ability to be customised for my business, however, when I assign exercises with my own custom videos, the videos do not automatically play as the default Trainerize videos do. There shouldn't be any reason for this - the platform can obviously autoplay videos.

  17. Allow clients to share more data from their workout

    Instead of only allowing clients to share the "thumbs up" along with their achievements from that session, allowing the clients to share their total minutes trained, setsxreps completed, and workout rating to social media or with friends.

  18. Custom Calendar Repeats

    Add a custom interval to repeating things in a clients calendar. At the moment there's only weekly and monthly. If you could set it to repeat every n days or n weeks or n months that would be very helpful.

  19. Make Freestyle Workouts made in the calendar Duplicatable

    Right now if you make a freestyle workout directly in the calendar on a mobile device, there is no way to duplicate it, share it, or add it to a program after. In order to do this, you must go back in and recreate it all over. I think it would be a great idea if after you make a freestyle workout directly in a calendar you could go back and share it to another clients program, or even save it to a mater program.

  20. Reminder to the coach and client when a client doesn't pay their invoice.

    Send a reminder to the coach and client when the client does not pay an invoice. Similar to the reminder when a credit card is declined, remind the client the invoice is unpaid after 1 or 2 days and repeat the reminder 2 times. Also alert the coach that the invoice has not been paid.
