We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Reminder Calendar (to-do's)

    Please create a calendar system where we can plug in reminders for each client like a google calendar. Ideally where we can assign team members to items. Using multiple apps to manage the back end is tedious.

  2. Easier viewing for coaches and their client's food diary

    Rather than having to click in and out of each day, it would be much easier to have a food diary tab and then just swipe through the days and have an immediate overview of calories and macros and their meals. It seems like a lot of faff to view currently

  3. Create & edit meal plans w/o alerting clients

    I'd like to be able to turn off email notifications for client meal plan. Ideally, so I can create a 3-day meal plan for them and swap out recipes without them being notified with every change I make.

    Or at least select & swap out recipes on the back-end, THEN be able to make it "public" to them when I'm done.

    I also would love if we had the ability to filter out certain ingredients - as in, individual ingredients (bell peppers for example) in the recipes, rather than just setting overall diet preferences like "dairy-free"

  4. UK / European version of meals

    Have UK/European versions of recipes with our names for ingredients (e.g. courgette rather than zucchini) and more recipes catered for this side of the world

    Trainerize recipes are great but I would like to see more recipes and snacks that are more common on this side of the world that my clients would be more familiar with to make it feel less daunting for them. Include branded things too like protein bars, rice krispie square bars etc

  5. Build out meal plans item by item

    I really want the ability to create a meal plan for clients that I build item by item and alter the quantities they are prescribed. Rather than be stuck with a premade recipe. Some people just want to eat chicken ******, rice, and broccoli in fact. Refer to the meal plan builder in MyPTHub which is based around this option. It just makes sense.

  7. View all clients scheduled workouts for the following day.

    Being able to see what is scheduled for the day, or days, ahead for all clients will help to keep them accountable, check in and keep them motivated to do the workout that day.
    This would be more effective for client compliance than asking them why the missed their session after the fact :)

  8. When clients book an appointment through the app, can you change the social media links in the confirmation email

    When clients book a consultation through the app they receive an automatic email. In the email it has the social media links for Trainerize. Is there any way you can change this to our social media handles?

  10. Provide a copy button when clients are tracking workouts so they don’t have to take time to input the same information for each set.

    Clients can save time inputting their information for an exercise if they use the same weight and do same reps by simply hitting a copy or repeat button

  14. Ability to add an exercise in the 'Progressions'/Customize view.

  16. notification for when foods/meals are added by clients

    I'd like to have the option for the app to notify me the push notifications when my clients post pictures of their food. I like giving them instant feedback on their pics so that I can help motivate and keep them accountable with their food choices.

  18. Add a "date" filter on recent activities (Instead of the "jump to")

    From the dashboard being able to filter out activities for a specific date. This way as a trainer you can comment on all activities for the day and ensure you don't miss anything.

  19. Cycling - distinguish between stationary bike and outdoor riding

    The tracking is geared towards stationary bike with no option to even indicate if you've done a stationary or outdoor ride, despite it changing the stats quite a bit.

    Making them actually work???? When a client deletes workouts/accidentally logs one, it still counts towards their milestone even if it wasn't accurate. They're completely useless.
