This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Removal of BMI graph

    The BMI graph can be really upsetting for clients being told they are obese. If it needs to exist, something I personally don't feel is appropriate, I would appreciate the option to remove the information. Thank you.

  2. Adding the ability for clients to see a list of all the meals and favorite them

    Be able to make it so clients can see a list of all the recipes offered in the smart meal planner with the calories and macros visible and also a search option and then so they can heart their favorite meals and add them to a list for way reference later. This will help out immensely when trying to meal prep a full week in advance!

  3. Preset Supersets (Warm-Ups, Cool Downs, specific WODs)

    I wish we had the ability to preset specific warm ups, cool downs, WODs, and other supersets/circuits that get used in multiple different programs.

  4. Trainer notification when a client STARTS their workout.

    We get a notification when a client completes their workout but it would be good if we got a notification when a client STARTS a workout. The trainer could then send them a message of encouragement before they start and/or reconfirm they are good to go for that workout.

  5. expand stripe integration to be able to charge card on file for clients, this streamlines the process and clients like the ease of use.

    I have clients 1:1 that for sessions they just want me to charge the card on file. this eases the UI for the client thus making the experience better. Stripe already has this capability by itself so I wouldn't think it would be that hard to add to Trainerize UI. ultimately I should have all control over my customer experience, something I feel Trainerize still doesn't not lend enough owner control of their business

  6. Start appropriate workout in Apple Watch for better metric accuracy.

    When starting a workout in the app it currently starts as a “Cross Training” workout in the app regardless of it is cardio, strength conditioning, or something else. The Apple Watch application currently allows for different workouts to be selected however in the app it would be nice if it could be also so Apple Health metrics could be more accurately recorded.

  7. option to provide the client with a weight for an exersize based of a percentage of their 1 rep max and for the app to auto calculate this

    make an option to tell your client what weight to use on a specific exercise, however the option should allow you to input the 1 rep max and a percentage and the app should auto calculate this and set the correct weight for my client to lift.

  9. Ability to add weight/load or intensity (%, RIR, etc.) when programming resistance training

    In the workout builder, adding an additional section for the intensity (weight/load, %RM, RIR, etc.) that is separate from the notes section would be helpful in programming. With the current configuration, the reps, intensity/load, notes, tempos, etc. are all in one "box" rather than those being separate. This would clean things up in the program design process, improve "readability" from clients/users, and could open up other options regarding tracking progress over time with exercises

  10. Hide the name of the habit in auto-posts in groups/challenges

    Clients might not want others in the group or challenge to see what kind of habit they are performing. Instead of completely hiding all habit completed auto-posts, allow auto posts but hide the name of the habit as it's very individual thing per client.

  11. Be able to add "Habits" like a workout clients to check out as opposed to going to the habit menu. You could create programs around habits

    I would love to be able to add "Habits" like a workout for clients to check out as opposed to going to the habit menu. You could create programs around habits and automate this just like a workout program. This is mainly for accountability coaching and saves you tons of time of having to manually add habits for each person

  12. Ability to use different macros for meal plan and for calories/macro tracking

    A lot of my clients want to have meal ideas + their own macros but the app turns their macros into something different. They should be able to see meals + personalized macros

  13. Client editable equipment lists

    Having a tab where the client can add what equipment they have aviable at the gym or at home.

    When I used true coach, this was a really handy tool for programming that the client could input what equipment they had available to them in the gym or a home setting.

  14. Syncing multiple calendars

    It would be nice to add multiple calendars or be able to delete the one that is synced and add a new calendar, so we don't have to mix personal with work related calendars.

  16. Option to cut out vegan/paleo options

    Most of my meat eating clients just aren't interested in vegetarian/vegan recipes so it would be nice to be able to filter those out

  17. Add jiu jitsu under Activities

    I am a trainer, and I also do Jiu Jitsu. It is a great exercise/activity. I am able to add it as an activity on another app... the list of possible activities is very small in comparison to others. Jiu Jitsu, martial arts, surfing, there are so many more details options that don't belong under general because that doesn't really help measure progress of other activities outside of the workouts inside the app.

  18. Add low FOD map diet options

    Adding the ability to layer multiple diets for searching and utilizing. for example... ie. adding a low FOD map diet, antiinflammatory diet and keto diet all simultaneously to really hammer down on someones nutrition. I do DNA testing and it is truly essential that customization is able to be done. along with which, changing inherently the recipe cards

  19. customized habit tracking with reminders as well as the ability to add additional fields to the set up of such.

    As a life and health coach I need more habit tracking details. I need to be able to remind them at certain times and give kudos when complete. I need more to go into the custom version of these entry's. honestly, adding a couple generic fields and giving us trainers the ability to customize would be great.
