We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Please add a feature to the Trainerize app that uses AI to calculate macros and calories from food pictures. This would simplify meal tracki

    Many of my clients are struggling with manual meal tracking in the Trainerize app, which is time-consuming and prone to inaccuracies. They often find it difficult to estimate their calories and macronutrients, leading to frustration and reduced adherence to their nutrition plans.

    An AI-powered feature that analyzes food pictures to calculate calories and macros would resolve this issue. Clients could simply take a photo of their meal, and the app would provide an accurate breakdown. This feature would:

  2. Clients add their own goals and habits (Instead of trainer manually entering)

    Empowering clients by giving them the ability to enter their goals and habits. This saves on the tedious tasks and time consuming efforts of the trainer. The more automation and delegation possible, the more effective system. This allows trainers to focus on their CLIENTS, not minor tasks.

  3. Calendar bulk editing

    When I add recurring auto messages (or similar) and then realize I need to either edit or delete the automation, I am unable to do so for all/in bulk, I have to go into each event individually, which is a pain if something was scheduled out far in advance!

  4. Show caloric adjustment dates on Trainerize

    Show when macros get changed (since this helps with refeeds and future caloric adjustments and reduces spreadsheet usage) This will help create better decisions for increasing or decreasing calories based on a client's goal while making sure they don't remain in deficit (or surplus) for too long.

  5. Calendar sync for workouts/training program

    I'm wondering if in the future Trainerize can consider a calendar sync for workouts? I see that there is a calendar sync for apointments but that's not helpful because the training program I'm in Stronger Together does not use appointments. It would greatly help ease of use on the app. Especially since the desktop (and mobile) apps do not allow for the ability to view monthly workouts. I think the desktop also doesn't allow for even weekly. Only the coaches can see that. I'm sure it's not straightforward to integrate into the app. And I know that has been requested…

  6. Separate Sections to enter progressions for workouts!

    When adjusting the progression, it only has one space to enter the reps, weight tempo, etc. for each workout. It would be helpful to have the ability to select what we want to add to track the workout and that then populating separate sections to enter said chosen tracking method. Limit the amount of progression tracking selections to 3.

    I.E. I assign the Bench Press to a client, the client is in prep for a powerlifting competition so one of the assigned bench press workouts is set to be 3-1-1-0 tempo.

  7. Clients being able to adjust kg and lbs on individual exercises and workouts

    Be able to change the measurements of weight for each individual exercise on each individual workout without changing past measurements and does automated conversion.

    Consultation/onboarding form in one with PARQ questions & signing off of terms & conditions (in an easier format than the current consult form - No coding needed and not PDF forms - Don't want clients to have to send things back to me and just be able to fill out when they open the app)

    In-App check-in forms (with option to have multiple for different types of clients)

    This should be of a HIGH priority to have internal forms

  9. NOTES ON CALENDAR

    Can we add a note feature to the calendar? I often check in with clients during new phases and if I know of their upcoming travel I can't seamlessly note anything.

    Example : "I know it's a month away but just wanted to give you the head up, I wont be able to train on July 4th, I'll be away for the holiday"

    I would be great to add a note to that day on their calendar instead of programing "TRAVEL" as a workout.

  11. different color for group class and 1 on 1 appointment for calendar

    It would make it so much easier to distinguish 1-on-1 appointments and group classes if the color code was different on the calendar view. right now they both blue. if the group classes were green, yellow ornage or a different color it would be easier to see

  13. Workout quality scoring

    I'm not a fan of the current "scoring" system for the workout "hardness". Hard is 7/10. What is beyond hard? I'd rather put "what was the subjective quality of the session?"

  14. Allow the same workout completion interface on the desktop as the app

    Clients should be able to mark workouts completed on the desktop in the same way, with the same experience as they have on the app.
    Clients working out from home prefer the site because the videos are easier to see, but have to enter the stats to mark it as complete (yes, I know they should be doing this anyway), whereas with the app they can simply mark them as complete and complete the RPE. Why isn't it the same experience across both platforms?

  17. Adding two nutrition goals (high/low days) and two meal plans

    Some clients are following a higher calories/carb meal plan on training days and lower calories/carbs on rest days. I'd love to be able to include two pdfs in the meal plan section and two nutrition goals.

  18. Calendar view when booking appointments

    Instead of having a scrolling calendar when booking 1-1 appointments it would be much easier to be able to see a calendar view so that the day of the week is visible too. I often have to switch over to my iCal to check which day a certain date falls on.

    Have a heart (love) feature on the emoji reactions that you can give to your client's messages & vice versa. This is highly requested by myself and my clients. Some things deserve a heart <3

  20. See macros for each food item on desktop

    Make it so trainer can see macros for each individual meal item on desk top and not just mobile. I am unable to click on a meal item on the desktop and see its direct macros.

Feedback and Knowledge Base
