This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. auto play custom videos

    It would be great to have the ability to choose a clip of your custom video so it could auto play when a client is doing their workout. or even having auto play of a certain clip during circuit/tabata workouts. Most of my clients complain that they have to view the workouts prior to hitting start for circuit based workouts because they dont see what the movement is during.

  2. Weekly Calorie and Protein Average calculated based on days tracked

    I use a google sheet to calculate the weekly average for the clients because some days they're not within the 10% range but the weekly avg will still work out. Which is what I mainly look at. Would love a protein average as well to help with less work on the coaches end. Thank you!

  3. Ability to pre-schedule habits to master programs

    Like workouts can be pre-scheduled for master programs, the ability to do the same in bulk (schedule multiple at once for the same time period) with habits would save me hours of time!

  4. Longer video messages

    current you can only send 1 min long videos over message. I would like the ability to send longer video over messages. I would like this increased to 5 min(or longer) as I often send my clients video messages!

    Rewarding people for multiple days in a row can be very incentivising. A big part of gamifying habits & workouts is consistency.

  6. Add Alcohol entries that count towards fats or carbs

    Since alcohol does not fit into the classic macro structure, create entries that allow the calories of an alcoholic drink to account from carbs or fats. Right now, my clients have to make their own custom entries and do this math themselves. In MFP, there are hundreds of alcohol entries that have calories that count towards fat or carbs.

    Alcohol is so common and when it doesn't reflect accurately in food logs it creates challenges for clients. This is only an issue with the in-app tracker.

  7. Sharing Workout Branding Logo

    When a client finishes their workout and can post it to their Instagram or Facebook maybe it display the branding of the company/business rather than just the "Congratulations, You've completed your Workout"

  8. Ability to pull up a shopping list for the week

    a meal plan for the week would include all the ingredients in the shopping list. This way a client can go grocery shopping and know what to purchase.
    A checkbox feature to make sure you’ve purchased the item/have it at home is also helpful.

  11. Bring the add custom food function away from the advanced nutrition paywall and into the app as a basic function

  12. Add RPE targets/rating to each set of an exercise and also to progression tables

    The ability to see how each client is rating an exercise speicifically and give them a target to hit on this exercise would be great.

    What would be even better is if you could also add this to the progression tables. So you might start someone on RPE 7 on an exercise week 1 and slowly through a training block move them up to an 8, then a 9 etc..

  13. Expand your Calorie Ranges significantly. All of my male bodybuilders eat more than 4000 calories per day!

    Allow for whatever macros a trainer needs and allow them to enter basic meals (like chicken and rice, ground beef and rice, chicken and pasta, etc) like MANY professional athletes eat instead of ONLY these overwhelming, complex meal ideas

  14. Make it easier for clients to access there previous sets, reps, and weights completed

    Add a history button next to each exercise within the clients program, so they can check what weight, reps and sets they have done in the past. This is good for clients to be able to check their progression quickly.

  15. Allow Customised feedback forms not just photos and body stats for check ins

    Hi

    At the moment there is the option for Photos and Body Stats but this is pretty limited when comes to energy and sleep and feedback from clients.

    They may be able to do this on workouts but to add this sort of Form to weekly check ins would be great and a useful tool for a lot of coaches I think.

    the requirement is to have a function to add " YOUTUBE VIDEO LINKS"
    for every new program we create
    for example

    once we create a new program for FAT loss
    we should be able to add these extra videos

  17. set custom calorie days

    I can't believe the advanced nutrition coaching doesn't allow you to set custom high/low calorie and macro targets for certain days for clients. I don't think I would have purchased this if I knew that in advance. Is this feature going to be added?

  19. Text reminders to clients for upcoming sessions

    To reduce the risk of clients missing sessions, it would be great to automate session reminders to clients when they have upcoming sessions via text message (Trainerize notifications don't always come through due to Apple/Android notification settings sometimes silencing them, but texts are more reliable).

  20. Ability to PAUSE a clients program.

    Need to be able to put a pause on a clients program. Say they are away from 2 weeks on vacation, ability to pause for the 2 weeks (or however long) then start back where they left off when they return.
