This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Easier for clients to add food to the diary:

    a quick add button on the main page to add food to the diary; it would be great if they could just use this app for tracking food, but the feedback im getting is that my fitness pal is so much easier to add food to, on this app they have to go through lots of options instead of just being able to click once and be on the add food/ scan barcode section.

  3. Option to add a buffer before and after appointments

    I would like there to be an option to set a buffer time before/after in-person training appointments to allow for sanitizing equipment or travel. I was using 10 to 8 scheduling software and it was a nice feature.

  4. Copying Meals from Previous Days

    When my clients eat the same thing a few days in a row they can copy and paste. However it is not letting them delete their notes. For example my client ate half of her breakfast yesterday and added in her comment below breakfast that she half. This morning she ate the same breakfast but ate all of it. When she copies the breakfast from yesterday to today it doesnt let her edit her comment.

  5. A daily habit score card for subjective data ie. sleep quality, mood, digestion, stress

    The ability to set daily habits that have a subjective score would be very useful. For example, the client can rate their sleep quality or mood 1-10.
    Giving the coach a greater look into how the client's week has gone and what may have affected training performance/ adherence.

  6. React to Client Hitting Daily Nutrition Goal

    I'd like to be able to react to the notification I receive that a client hits their daily nutrition goal. Currently you can only react when they add a meal, but it would be far easier to "like" that they hit the goal for the day instead of "like" 6 meals that they've added!

  7. Ability for clients to select easier/harder exercise (progression or regression)

    Ability to add regressions and progression. So clients can progress an exercise to a more challenging version, or regress to an easier version by themselves, without having to think about the right substitution.

  10. Automatically play custom videos (uploaded or imported from YouTube)?

    I chose the Trainerize platform for its ability to be customised for my business, however, when I assign exercises with my own custom videos, the videos do not automatically play as the default Trainerize videos do. There shouldn't be any reason for this - the platform can obviously autoplay videos.

  11. Training days and rest days macros. Add macros in overall program.

    Being able to prescribe training day macros and rest day macros to a client would be ideal. Also being able to add daily nutrition goals and habits to the overall program would be awesome. Thanks.

  12. pin notes, links or messages in group chats

    Some form of 'description' section on the group chat feature or the ability to pin certain information like links or messages to the top of group chats for easy access by all group members

  14. self book recurring appointments

    The ability for clients to self-book recurring appointments. If they attend the same appointment every week, be able to book that appointment as recurring. Right now the trainer has to schedule recurring appointments.

  15. HIDE KCAL for all people with a history of food disorder.

    Being able to hide the amount of KCAL - It can be damaging for people with a history of mental unhealth with food.

  16. Allow clients to pause workouts and come back without having to click "save"

    Many of my clients have brought to my attention they would like to be able to pause their workouts. In cases where they need to break up their workout they aren't able to pause a workout half way, just save and finish the workout.

  18. Longer videos in the attachment section of the client's profile

    In the attachment section of the client's profiles, there is a limit of around 8mb (1 minute max, sometimes even less, 50 seconds or so) for video uploads. This section would be really useful for any trainers that want to upload mobility tests that clients have done to track their progress. This way the trainer can track how the client has progressed from the start. This is the same for any exercises that the client may have had issues with.   19. Bulk batch cooking or doubling recipe for people who meal prep or want to share meals with family.

    It would be nice if recipes portions could be multiplied for bulk batch cooking (meal prep) or if more than one person is catered for or You want to eat leftovers for lunch & save time cooking.

  20. Link up to my Google calendar so that it can block out my availability for self booking

    I keep my personal appointments scheduled in my google calendar.

    I would like to connect Trainerize to my google calendar so that if I have personal appointments, my clients cannot self-book in that spot.
