We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Manually log macros without tracking food

    Allow clients to manually log their calorie and macro intake. I have several clients who already use a macro tracker besides MyFitnessPal or FitBit that they really like and don't want to start over in the app.

  2. View Client names on the calendar view without having to hover over event type.

    Be able to see individual client names for each booking on the calander view for the trainers without having to hover over the event type for more details.

  3. Put notes on calendar

    It would be helpful if I, as a client, could put notes in on the calendar to, for example, mark events that could limit my ability to work out (travel, work, etc).

  4. Ability for clients to upload a video in a workout

    I do 6 week assessments, and with my guided clients, they send me videos of them doing the moves through the messenger. What I would love, is it there was a prompt you could add in workouts that said "add video here" and allowed the client to film the move and upload it directly inside the assessment. This could also be applicable if a client wanted to check form, so perhaps a self-insert option would be helpful as well.   6. Coaches and trainers activity profile

    Coaches and trainers fitness activity and meal tracker should be posted in the groups with clients to service as motivation. It shows we practice what we preach!

    Today, I'd like to share an exciting idea that could make our Trainerize experience even more awesome. How about we add a personal touch to our workouts by allowing users to record their own voiceovers for interval cues instead of relying on the default male and female voices?

    Personalized Motivation: Hearing your own voice or your favorite motivational quotes can boost your motivation and keep you on track during those challenging workouts.

  9. Analytics

    Ability to run reports on sessions delivered, trial sessions, classes delivered, revenue generated, pay roll etc.

    There is no way a business can run with multiple trainers without this kind of detailed information.

  11. edit comment in workout

    My clients send me videos from their workouts in our private message, and then I go into their workouts and comment form feedback. I cannot edit or delete any comment I send. It seems like a very simple thing to be able to edit or delete something I write if I need to.

  17. Allow booking with manual client and locations.

    For example, with a free consult - I don't want to set them up as a client in the system, but I'd like to book the time slot. I have a free appointment type for a consult, but I can't use it as it needs to be linked to a client.
    It would be great if we could input a booking using appointment type, and manually enter the client name.
    Same with location - if I'm training out of a different location to usual, I'd like to be able to just type the address, instead of having to set a…

  20. Messaging Arrows for TraCking

    When I open up messages to see what clients have messaged me, it is not obvious who sent the last message after you’ve opened a client message.

    It’d be nice if there was a way to see if the last message in a conversation was incoming or outgoing when I am scrolling through at the end of the day to make sure I didn’t miss any messages that I may have read and never replied to.
