This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Show weekly/monthly calories / macro averages in nutrition graph

    I would love to be able to adjust the nutrition graph overview by date range and view overall averages of each metric (macros/calories). This would be super helpful to have a clearer picture of whether our clients are tracking and hitting their goals effectively through each week.

    For example, if I want to see a client's nutrition data for 1 week, I should be able to set date ranges (i.e. 5/10/2020 - 5/16/2020) and see their daily numbers but also see the averages as well.

  2. Ability to delete a bulk amount of reoccurring scheduled messages

    For example, i have set a check in message for 52 weeks of the year and i cannot remove it. I have to go through and delete them individually. Aint no body got time for that

  3. To be able to update a training plan while viewing how they did the previous week

    When programming a new workout you are unable to view how the client did in their previous session at the same time, which makes it harder to currently programme accordingly.

    At the moment I am needing to go through 2 devices one for programming and one to view the workout that they completed the previous week.

  4. I want any onboarding steps not done to be flagged on the client's profileicon

    As a trainer, I want to know if there are any existing issues with a client before any appointments via a visual flag on the client's profile icon.

    I should be aware of things such as payment issues, incomplete waivers, etc.

  7. Ability to hide caloric information to use custom meals with habit tracking

    The option to add meals without calorie information or rather with hand portions would be extremely useful in being able to make the most of this new feature.

  8. Display Clients Current Time Next to Their Name

    I work virtually and work with clients from several different time zones. It would be really helpful if the clients current time was displayed next to their name in dashboard, messages, client list so I could tell if it was an appropriate time to message them, and quickly adjust for their time zone when discussing scheduling

  9. Ability to choose what events are attached to webhook

    Right now, a webhook gets triggered for EVERY single action available via the API, not just the events that we actually want to automate from. This creates a huge amount of wasted operations and raises our operation costs considerably. Almost any other API lets us choose only certain events to attach a webhook to, so it is unfortunate that the software we rely on the most (Trainerize), doesn't let us have that same control over our data usage.   10. Connect to Google calendar so clients cannot book spot when I have personal appointments

    Connect your google calendar to Trainerize so personal appts marked on gcal sync over so it can block out appt spots so clients cannot book them

  12. Be able to pick an exercise or upload a thumbnail for a workout

    I am considering making a basic "how to use" video for each session with a thumbnail including the full workout name. Since I already have all of that info in the workout description, it would be much nicer if I could just add a thumbnail to the workout itself. Would also get rid of having the same image for every workout (since I use the same movement prep warmup for every session).

  14. Ability to buy/sell other coaches programs in master programs so we don’t have to enter everything manually

  15. Allow clients to access old phases if the trainer would like.

    It would be good to have the option to allow clients to access old programs without having to manually re-add the phases each time.

    I have 'graduated' clients who would still like to access their old programs afterwards, so I charge them a small monthly fee to still access the app, but currently have to manually add all the old workouts into an on-demand library.

  16. Add waist measurement as tile to dashboard.

    I think it would be helpful to add a tile for WAIST MEASURMENT under the MY PROGRESS tab. I am teaching my clients not to obsess over the scale, so I use their waist measurements for check-ins, rather than their weight. I only have them weigh-in once a month. I think it would be helpful to add this there so I can find it faster than clicking on the biometrics to find it.

  17. Be able to add in multiple task in the calendar view. Add in workouts + cardio + body stats at one time.

  18. Track volume per body part.

    Have programs total the number of sets per body part each workout has invidually and how much volume per body part the program has as a whole. This is necessary to calculate how much volume a client is doing base on their training age (beginner/intermediate/advanced).

  20. Customizable Number of Days of Meal Suggestions

    Have customizable number of days worth of meal suggestions based on calorie and macro goals with 2-3 meal substitutions per meal if a client doesn’t like the first option. At least up to 30 days worth.
