This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Snacks and drinks, and Food inclusion

    More snack options, drink options are a MUST - clients don't want to only drink black coffee and water. Finally, a food inclusion category - clients love certain foods and wish for them to be more programmed into their plans.

  2. Add a distance variable to swimming

    add the ability to track laps at different distance example 3 laps of 50m or 2 laps of 25m or 4 x 150m. These are all normal variations for swimming and i think would be a valuable addition.

  3. Level Up Challenges

    When a new client signs up to a set program, we can introduce them to challenges on a "level up" basis. At level 1 it could be to complete simple nutrition tasks such as eat more protein, complete 2 workouts per week, be able to run 2km etc. Once they complete level one, they could then go onto level 2 "difficulty" and so on. I think it would be a great lead magnet and easy wins for new clients signing up to a program. Also it could be set for when someone signs up rather than a set date challenge…

  4. Track Calories per Workout

    I would like to suggest being able to see the calories burned per workout. When a client starts their workout, their wearable tracker automatically starts. When they finish the workout, the wearable will show them how many calories they burned during that particular workout but it is not recorded in Trainerize. We can see the total calories burned for the day but not for each workout. About 90% of my clients have a wearable tracker. They often compare calories burned during workouts in the group chat.   5. Allow Distance Data to be Pulled on Cardio Stats Instead of Hours

    Data for client cardio is only shown in "hours" completed - we should be able to pull the data in distance. Viewing cardio completed in hours really can create a negative connotation with obsessive clients. I think distance is more practical and sensitive to users.

  7. Meal plan by category breakfast, lunch, dinner etc.

    Have categories such as breakfast, snack1, lunch, snack 2, dinner, etc,... where the trainer can provide 3-4 meal options for breakfast and the client can choose what they feel like.

  8. Adjust push notification reminder for 'things to do'

    It would be nice to be able to set the time of day when clients get reminded about their habits. I know it's automatically sent in the morning but half the time my clients forget to come back to the app to check in if they followed through on their habit or not. Kahunas does an amazing job at their habits & daily check ins and honestly debating about going back to them.

  9. When new clients sign up for multiple session package to have them added to trainerize as basic and not coaching.

    It would be amazing if for my in person classes which I have a multiple session product, would have new clients buy a session(s) and be added to trainerize as BASIC instead of coaching because it's taking up my coaching spots (which I only have 15 spots which is full). And then I have to go in and manually change it. But if I don't change it in time or have multiple people at once trying to purchase sessions it says i have no more spots and puts them into pending.

  10. Picture Options

    Allow coaches to select different picture options for clients. For gen pop the three front/back/side poses are fine. But for competitors we want to see poses.

    Set up packages options for default poses based on NPC/IFBB classes.

  11. Running monthly tally on PT sessions delivered

    We run a personal training studio. All of our trainers work on commission of sessions delivered. At present we use client sign off sheets to moniter sessions delivered. We would like to see a change so that when a client buys session credits, and uses them to book a session. There is a running total on each trainers profile to show how many sessions they have delivered. This would mean we can say goodbye to the paper client sign off sheets. It would make things completely accurate as when someone buys a block, they would be allocated credits to book…

  12. To be able to copy workouts of the day from app to master library on desktop

    When I write up a workout of the day on the app for a client I can't save the session on my desktop so I can use it again if needed

  15. Change exercise order during training

    Add the ability to drag and drop exercises to change the order during a workout.

    When it's busy at the gym clients would like to change the order of the exercises because of the equipment they need to use is already being used by someone else. To keep things tidy and for the trainer to see in what order the exercises were performed it would be nice to have the ability to change the order and log the order of the exercises as well.

  17. Better Reporting on Coaches' clients compliance and app activity

    Having months of data instead of only a week or two have data on client compliance, nutrition compliance, coach/client communication for each coach to help managers measure coaching performance with their clients activity

  18. nutrition history

    1) Give us the ability to assign goals for and track micronutrients, especially fiber.
    2) Give us the ability to set tighter tolerances than 10%. Competitors need like 2-3%. Custom tolerances would just be easier.
    3) Give us the ability to track a history of macro goals instead of editing the same goal. We want to graph weight vs calories to see correlation.
    4) Give us a better meal planner using verified foods. The add-on meal planner is just ridiculous with its ingredients and complexity. There's no way to set simple meals like beef and rice or eggs and bacon.…
